The Local Wear.
When did you last see some of these sandals? Have you worn one before? How did you really feel? This is a locally made sandals made by young adults here in Ghana. They look so beautiful and very quality as well. I really love to see local products like this especially when they are made to meet international standard. Lately, production here in Ghana has taken a whole different view which is a plus for us in Ghana here.
It is surely not surprising to see lots of people buying made in Ghana goods in bulk to export to other countries. This I believe has a lot of economic implication of national development. I am made to believe it is simply not for the beauty of some of these products but the durability that makes people buy more even to travel abroad.
I saw these ones today with this young guy who made them himself and selling them as well. The beauty of these sandals caught my attention and had to get closer to find out more about them all. The good news about it is the price they all carry. So good that each sandal costs 35ghs ($8). I do not need a huge sum of money to get me one of these sandals. Just a small amount of steem/sbd could buy one of the sandals.
Most Ghanaians are mostly seen in these wears especially on weekends and at ceremonies. People feel simple and good to wear some of these sandals to church over the weekend. They are sold almost at every corner of the street that one may find him/herself. You certainly do not have to be at the mall or supermarket before you get them.
I wish I could have the seller on this platform to help promote his handy work on the blockchain. Maybe I would have to talk with him some other time to show appreciation for the beauty of his handy work. I love the fact that you do such a superb job of selling Ghanian goods to the general public. It is nice to know that there are still people out there, creating their own good and selling them.
I like that there is pride in the work also. He obviously has joy in his heart with his work. They are a wonderful looking product and I wish him well in his endeavors.
