Art and the city: New art gallery El Jardin de Marieta #MarketFriday by @dswigle [part 2]
My current hometown, Playa del Carmen is not just white sand, turquoise water, tacos and tequila - you can actually find much more here. Today I want to introduce you to an international art gallery located in a hidden garden right off Playa del Carmen’s 5th Avenue, you will find here some world-class artworks by over 30 different artists.
You imagine magical garden full of large, beautiful trees providing shade to a quaint courtyard lined with a restaurant, a spa, a unique souvenir shop, and two colorful art galleries. The painting catches our eyes...Wow, What an amazing place for all art lovers!
One of the galleries, Gaston Charo Art Gallery is owned and operated by Argentinian-born Gastón Charó, well know as international exhibitions in Argentina, Europe and Central America.
Gaston Charo is an excellent and multitalented artist with a very colorful view of the world. His gallery is a true oasis in the middle of all the tourist traps.
I highly recommend to visit this place with vibrant colors and warm atmosphere of this haven for creativity and culture. It is very quite place for all who want to have a break and see somenting different and unique in Playa del Carmen.
I fell in love with this particular painting in the cubism style.

I love the way you phrase that, my current hometown! That just brings it home to me that you're just a bohemian, free spirit, wandering around this beautiful globe. That just makes me smile.
I do not know how long you have been in Playa del Carmen, and I it's your second time being there oh, but I do believe that Gaston Charo has been there awhile, but come I am sure that many Americans I'm not even aware of him or his amazing work!
I cannot thank you enough for bringing us to this place what are the colors pop off the page and the atmosphere hugs you like sunshine on a summer day.
Art is truly a universal language. It speaks to anybody who opens up their mind. The sculptures, his exotic interpretations of style. I have to wonder why he is not more popular in the United States because he is such a colorful character and man that he reeks uniqueness. Thank you so much for showing off the Gaston Charo gallery. It is a wonderful place and definitely worth looking into if you are in the area. If you are not in the area oh, it is definitely worth a trip for a little bit of Sun and Fun and Gaston Charo!
