RE: Market Friday Gets Personal: Stuff You Sell When You Move And May End Up Missing Later

in #marketfriday6 years ago

I love toys & I love having stuff!

My favorite here are the LEGOs as I'm a builder at heart. 2nd fav is the trains. Third, those nerf guns that you would need in the summer at camp, even that many, if you had a lot of friends, haha. Upvoted. Very fun. Thanks for sharing.

Having vs. Being?

Having more stuff can be good if you use them, if you need them, if it helps better than not having more and more. But on average, stuff can get in the way, slow people down, like buried talents. So, yeah, we can survive and even do better with less stuff, generally, because it can free us from like dependency and slavery towards keeping stuff and in not being free for other things and so on and so forth. Having a lot of stuff can get in the way of being alive, being free, having fun, being more flexible, having more space, in having more options, in breaking the chains of addictions, or whatever. Thanks again.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful reply @joeyarnoldvn :) I'm happy you enjoyed my toys, that are not my toys anymore ;) Very wise and well said words about people and our "stuff." Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!
