MarketFriday - initiated by @dswigle - Food Fair in Bangkok !!
Hi everyone here we are back for another #marketfriday initiated by the lovely @dswigle and it's Friday again and a quarter into the year already does anyone know if there is any device in the technology market that can slow time down or freeze it for a few years please let us know. Today i was a a food fair in Bangkok city.
These Food Fairs are held around Bangkok city and around all other provenience of Thailand all year round and every province moves from province to province because they all have there own different culture foods to sell as every province has a different way of preparing foods on the stick.
Sausages with bacon or cheese wrapped around them.
Barbecued Squid on the stick.
Bacon and Straw Mushrooms on the stick.
Chicken ,Beef and Pork on the stick.
It is always a great idea to go to these food fairs on a empty stomach so you can eat as much as you can because you do want to eat everything you see believe me i have been to a few and it is hard to resist.
The seafoods are always out of this world huge crabs and prawns just superb.
Then there always is a abundance of fruits available mangoes , sweet grape fruits , tamarind , mangosteens and etc.
Then there are all the fried chicken pieces , pork bits and beef sweet marinated with chili mix these snacks on there own are enough to delight your day.
You can have the dishes of your choice cooked in front of you whether it would be chicken pad thai , seafood pad thai , vegetable dishes with pork , chicken or beef ....omg....it's just all here at your comfort.
All the fresh juices you may desire mango , pineapple , lemon , pomegranate and more all freshly squeezed 100% no sugars added.
For me the highlight of this whole food fair event was this Thai guy thinking he was Crocodile Dundee he was acting that he had caught and killed this crocodile all on his own this guy was absolutely amusing.
Yes barbecued crocodile at $10 US for a plate full and if done right has a great taste a mix between chicken and pork and not tough meat does go down well with a bit of chili barbecue sauce.
Remember this guy and his store name if your even in Bangkok he barbecues the best crocodile i have tasted in Thailand.
I always love coming to these food fairs when i know they are on in Bangkok normally they stay set up for about two weeks before they move on to another area and you can always take away or sit in comfort and eat on the tables and chairs provided.
What i normally do is go with my girl friend cause she eats even more then me and i love and enjoy seeing her getting into it we go there for breakfast then go for a walk around the shops then come back for lunch go for another walk around and come back for dinner this way you get to try almost everything....lol:)
Thank you @dswigle for giving us the opportunity to show of our countries markets on @marketfriday it is certainly a very knowledgeable subject to see what our neighboring countries can bring to us.

S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G !!!
I cannot imagine this much food in one place! First off, that first shot that you show of the pomegranates? They are so huge or perhaps it is the illusion of huge? I could not believe the size of them and how absolutely delicious they looked! Oh, my!! There was no topping that!
Or so I thought!
They have these food fairs all year round? How can it be that Thai people are so tiny? To me, the food on a stick is yummy. I mean, anything on a stick is!!! Am I right? There seems to be no end to what they will put on a stick~ Sausage wrapped in bacon? Oh, my!!! Be real!!! I couldn't eat that, but, it sounds sinful! The barbequed squid on the stick is something I would walk around with!! Bacon and straw mushrooms? I have never heard of some of these! You cannot make this stuff up! To be fair, it is true, if it is on a stick, I would probably try it.
The seafood was to die for. Yes! Indeed. They look delectable sitting there waiting for me. Huge crabs! I wonder what kind they are and what they feed them. They look like they are on steroids! My goodness! You know how I am easily impressed with the Thai markets of food. There seems to be no end to them and everything is twice the size of what I am used to. The seafood especially! Even the prawns are giant.
The fruit is beyond comparison from any that I have seen - anywhere. Hands down. Well, you already know how I feel about the delights of their fruit there. I am wondering what those things are in the big shells or is that an optical illusion with the camera? They look like some kind of nut or fruit? Oh, yes, the next picture down shows their true size and they are in a bag? What are they?
This was such an amazing post, filled with all things wonderful! I cannot even begin to tell you how thankful for dropping the link and then of course, taking all this time to search out and find these wonderful places- then having to take the time to put them together.
Thank you! Thank you! Another amazing post by a truly dedicated soul. You be steemin, my friend!!! You don't have time for anything else with these posts!!!
Thank you, Angelo and have a great week!

They are really that size them pomegranates no illusion and definitely yummy. These food fairs do go on all year round in different areas they just keep switching around a great idea for tourist and every time i run into these food fairs they seem to have some thing new on the stick foods like them straw mushrooms and bacon just superb.
Seafood on steroids....lol...that's funny you never know , no i think it must be the tropical waters and climate maybe.
That fruit in that nut shell is a Tamarine fruit a great health fruit :)
And thank you for your always awesome comment i just love reading your comments it always gives me a boost :)
Well, honestly!!! I could go on and on, but I do want you to read the comment! There is just so much to say about those posts that you do, each and every single one is amazing and meticulously done.
Tamarine fruit! Aha! Thank you. I couldn't figure out what it was. The seafood on steroids was a joke, just because they are so big! The Caribbean has the same tropical weather and waters and the seafood isn't nearly as big!
Thanks again and I look forward to your next one!

Howdy sir hangin! oh man, another totally amazing post sir! I didn't know anyone ate crocodile! That place is mind blowing.
They never cease to amaze me with the quality of foods over here and yes crocodile meat has become a trend around the world lately :)
wow, and it tastes good? Do you eat it? It's kind of expensive?
I have eaten it taste like chicken but a little sweeter meat and not expensive here in Thailand about $10 US for a plate full :)
Well sir hangin I guess since it's crocadile I reckon that's a good price, it ain't like catching a little fish.
This is true i thought it was quite cheap and goes down well with a bit of sweet and sour chili sauce :)
Howdy today sir hangin! Sweet and sour chili sauce with BBQ'd crocodile! Wow that sounds like a flavorful combination that I'd like to try!
