MarketFriday - initiated by @dswigle - Chatuchak Weekend Market - Part - 2.
Hi everyone here we are back for another #marketfriday initiated by the lovely @dswigle and it's Friday again and today i want to bring to you Part - 2 of Chatuchak Weekend Market as i mention last week this market has 15,000 stores so it would be impossible to fit in one post , so let's go and continue our tour through this massive market.
Entering the markets this time round i spotted all these beautiful crystal glass animal ornaments beautifully made some starfish , frogs , geckos and others glued onto these nice smooth rocks.
These were quite interesting all sorts of advertising and fun gadgets for your restaurant , bar or personal use in your home.
Then i make my way into the undercover of the market through all the little alleyways that run through the market each alleyway is named as Soi which means little street so they are all numbered like say Soi-1 and so on till probably Soi-150 and etc.
There are so many different knickknacks like this store with all sea shell necklace , bracelets and just beautiful sea shells.
Thai young girls love knickknacks and soft toys to hang of there bags or hang them of there revision mirror of there car or just sit them on the back parcal tray of their car a very popular thing in Thailand.
I honestly could not believe they could design so make little knickknacks that you can hang of your bags.
Beautiful designed and colored picture frames and fruit bowls.
Clocks of all shapes , colors and design.
Lovely beautiful flower shaped Christmas lights.
Many shapes and sizes of choppers to chop your Christmas turkey or ham up.
Awesome range of musical chimes.
Famous Buddhist Monks case in a golden glass box.
Even brand made teas.
The most favorite items of the day that i saw were these little cute ceramic characters dressed in old school style very elegant i thought.
And that was my Friday afternoon at JJ Markets and here is a lovely flower for my beautiful friend @dswigle have a great weekend.

Well, isn't that so pretty, with those crystal/glass ornaments adorning those rocks? I could see them being used in a bar or in a place of business. That is what I would do with them. I believe you are right, all those little trinkets must belong to a bar or business again. Well, there are always little things on the counters at bars that they are giving out to their patrons. They don't even look cheap like so many of them do!
Oh, my!! Yes! Knick knack store extraordinaire! Wow! So many different kinds and yes! The young girls love to have those little stuffed animals and key chains and all sorts of dangles from their bags. If they don't have any, then, it's just another bag! I actually had no idea there were so many!! It is a popular thing to hang them on the rear-view mirror here. Well, if you are of a certain age and then when you get older. :)
I am in love with those fruit bowls! They are unusual looking for me and the mirrors are an odd combination, but, they are pretty, so does it matter? The clocks are abundant!! Those Christmas lights that are flowers are right up my alley! I can think of a dozen places that those would work well in my house. Nice!
I would need a 50 lb ham for that knife to not overwhelm it! The chimes? Ring them one more time. They sound so beautiful and I love to hear the ones that sound like Church bells. Did you give them a little tingle? Throw that tea in my basket. Perhaps even a few.
Monk in a box?? Noooooo! I am sure it is a very coveted gift. I shouldn't have made fun. Those little ceramic figures are adorable! How fun!!! You really got some mileage in, didn't you? Holy Moly!
The flower is beautiful and I thank you for thinking of me! Always a flower.
Thank you for the time and effort this post took to put together! It is much appreciated!!!

I do think with all the Knick knacks they have over here you would have to buy another house to decorate all in Thai style and turn the front yard into a Thai restaurant i will come and be your chef what do you reckon :)
I definitely did get some mileage up yesterday but it worked out great because JJ Markets is not far at from the airport and it was on my way home and my mouth was watery thinking about then long black grapes and i got to stretch my legs and see a bit more of this massive market.
And those little ceramic figures are really adorable i must get a couple next time i am out there.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and the Tip , glad you loved the flower :)
Who could not love the flower? Right? They are always beautiful.
That was more knick knacks than I could ever dream about! Oh, my! Those grapes were out of this world and I have never seen them before. Thailand (and Asia in general) has more varieties of fruit them I know the names for.
BTW, I am sure my HOA would have a heart attack if I put a Thai restaurant in my front yard. Not so much my neighbors. they all love Thai food! ;)
Hey you! Have a great Saturday evening!
Is one reason i went back to that market is to get them black grapes again and i am munching i them as i am typing///yummy :)
And you have a great Saturday Day :)
