MARKET FRIDAY - GETTING SOME AFTERNOON...... ???
MARKET FRIDAY
I didn't think I would be able to do a #marketfriday initiated by @dswigle but... I did manage to. Come take my adventure with me to find out what I got!
So I know there are million's of McDonald's everywhere all over the world and once you have seen one you probably seen them all. However, that doesn't stop me. I don't really eat here and neither do my kids. It is seconds away from the school tho and I was on my way to pick them up and needed to stop here real quick.
This is the outside of the building. Basically the front entrance area! I was in my car with all of these photos so excuse me with them. I was trying to be inconspicuous and not hold up any traffic. Luckily a group of people were walking across the parking lot which gave me a reason to stop.
This is just a plain Golden Arch sign. Yup, like most any other. Really nothing too special. Do you see the blue sky? And the sun shining? Don't let that fool you. It was 40 degrees outside.
"Going thru the drive thru.." (Imagine me singing that please.) Hmm.. Are you wondering what in the world was so important to me mid-after noon that I needed to stop? Well I am not going to burst the bubble just yet, you'll have to keep reading to find out. These double drive thru's are relatively a new concept here. I wonder how many orders have gotten mixed up?
I just paid for and got my order and am now pulling the rest of the way thru the drive thru. I think the ladies inside think I am on some kind of drugs or something because I was snapping a bunch of photos with my new camera. Are you still curious? Can you guess? Was it Ice Cream? Seriously? In 40 degree weather?
BAM! Yup I got myself some coffee. Peppermint Mocha to be exact. I needed a mid-day pick me up. Did I have you going for a bit??? Did I keep you on your toes?

You certainly kept me guessing, especially as you were staying outside. Peppermint Mocha - good choice. Actually Mcdonalds have surprisingly good coffee, and it's handy to grab a quick drink on the move.

Yes.. and the coffee shop was about a mile the other direction anyways.. so this was my best bet. I am glad I kept you on your toes. I should do more posts like that... much like they do with tv shows cutting to commercials just as it was getting good.. lol

We never bother ordering icecream of anykind from here... every one we go to always say that their machine is broke...

Me too. We have a YOBE close to our house. I load up with fruit, and my husband loads up with chocolate. Lol!
Not a coffee person myself. But McD's does have really good hot chocolate! I personally was disappointed when they tore down my old McDonalds to rebuild a new one with double drive thrus. It's always so busy now.
They tore one down up the road from this one to build this one a few streets over.. that is crazy...
