The Talented @buckaroo and her Natural Skin Care Products!

Hey everyone, it is an honour to make this post dedicated to my sister whom I have aptly named the 'SteemQueen' and for good reason. She has only been on here for 9 months odd and post for post, comment for comment she 'WHIPS ME' hands down and without question. Well done @buckaroo x

I have entered this into the legendary @dswigle and her @marketfriday to get some more exposure I truly feel @buckaroo more than deserves it!

My sister has many talents, she is an epic artist out of the top draw (@buckaroo do a post or two featuring your paintings?) she is an animal/goat NUT and one of my favourites, she is a Skin Care Product Specialist. LITERALLY!

A few years go @buckaroo shipped me some of her products soaps, lip balms and creams/moisturizers. Personally I think she should patent some of her blends featuring everything from bees wax (which as you know I LOVE) to goats milk, herbs to charcoals, essential oils to all sorts of weird, wonderful and magical natural remedies. About a month back she shipped me more, this time around I am even more impressed with her products than before, as are other folks!

I recently had a golf day with my mates in Sun City, we were experiencing a heatwave with temperatures up to 40 degrees in the shade (Africa ain't for softies). Naturally walking the golf course 3 days running we were literally burnt to a crisp. I do not use any form of sun-protection as I believe commercial sun products cause cancer faster than the sun (look what they are doing to world coral reefs), what I do however do is use her incredible BB Dessert moisturizer as an after sun and WOW this product is amazing.

A friend of mine who is not into moisturizing at all was so burnt and in so much pain requested I give him a little, 12 hours later he could not stop raving about this incredible product. Naturally I boasted to him that my sister made it and he had better order some soon too :)

It looks delicious, has an incredible texture and my skin certainly agrees albeit I would not recommend taking it orally ;)

@buckaroo has an incredible range of skin care products she calls GOSHNA do check her out on Facebook too here https://www.facebook.com/Goshna-474076142741847/

Buckaroo also does a new product which is a soap bar shampoo, sadly I cannot comment on this product as I accidently used it as a traditional hand wash (sorry sister) and by the time she informed me this was a shampoo it was finished, however if it works anything as well as her body butters, moisturizers and soaps I can only imagine it is nothing but purely spectacular!

@buckaroo sent me an sms today asking me to have a shave with the product too, to which I responded with a pic of my beard and how do you know me? No shaving is done in these parts ;)

Charcoal bar?? @buckaroo can clarify in comments below as she does!!

South African Steemians do support her please, she ships nationwide and take it from me, her products are WELL WORTH IT, incredibly well crafted with love passion dedication and the highest quality natural products money can buy, or she can produce/grow! They are not cheap, but quality never is and based on that I feel she could and should charge more!

As appealing as that sounds and as much as I would love to join in and support the international homesteaders the South African system have very different and corrupt ideas. Sad to say @homesteaderscoop it is extremely expensive to ship internationally (in or out) and a lot of the goods get stolen along the way. I won't risk it. Thanks for the compliment though

Oh wow I am sorry to hear that. I appreciate you sharing the reality of your situation in South Africa. I completely understand. Thanks for letting me know! Yes your soaps are so lovely, its a shame you can't share them to a wider audience!

Thanks a ton for the support and love @homesteaderscoop both for my sister and I, I really think she should export where ther is a will there's a way eh? Cheer$;)

Thank you for your kind reply @homesteaderscoop. I seldom write about the tragic situation in SA but after replying to the comments about why I don't ship internationally I decided to do an update. If you are interested, and have the stomach for depressing reality

Is there anything that gal can't do? Love any kind of product like this that is made with such care and reverence for health and sustainability. Bravo @buckaroo!

She's good right thanks a ton for the comment, her products feel incredible as well as the added bonus of not having any dodgy ingredients that are making us all sick these days! Cheer$;)

Aaaaah! Such a sweet comment. Thanks @plantstoplanks!

I'm a huge fan of holistic and organic products, especially for the skin. We only get one of those so it's nice to take good care of it. I'm jealous that I don't live in South Africa because those products would be awesome anywhere, however we do not get the same weather and I could probably get by with less care. I think I phrased that wrong but you know what I mean. My sun doesn't nearly reach the temperatures that yours does.

That is so awesome the way you two support and love each other. I know I have a brothers and sisters and there are days I don't know what I'd do without them. Then there are days that I don't know how I do anything with them and were they really raised by the same set of parents? Just kidding. Probably.

Good luck to @buckaroo and honestly, if they are half of what you say they are, she should probably look at getting them marketed or at least protect her copyright on them. Thank you so much for participating in Market Friday and as usual we are most happy to have you.

Upped and steemed

You always write the sweetest comments Denise! Thank you. As I've replied to a couple others the corrupt systems here in South Africa sadly are not conducive to international marketing. You will either wait a year (no joke) or a lifetime while someone else enjoys your purchase due to their belief that they are entitled to take what they want :(

I have heard that many times, sadly. 💖🌲

It is so so tragic @dswigle. After replying to the various comments questioning why I don't ship internationally I thought I'd do an update. It's depressing but if you are interested:

Hey my friendy friend thanks so much. Ye we have our odd altercation I won't lie but such is the nature of humanity eh but kiss and make up we have always done and still do albeit not talking for a while, but ever since she gave me a gorgeous nephew (which I plan to steal and teach to drink beer) all has been well hehehe Thanks again for all your love and support. PS: You don't want to live in South Africa at the moment the political scene is far from pretty, but we try be ostriches about it all x Cheer$;)

Happy marketfriday.

Nice product for skin

Congratulations for your sister

Oh I would love to try some of @buckeroo 's products, they sound delightful!
Too bad i live on the other side of the world!
Any thoughts of shipping Internationally?

Too bad indeed @porters! I would love to ship internationally but our government, and therefor the services are corrupt. Not only is the shipping extremely expensive a lot of the stuff gets stolen. So I am no longer willing to risk it. Sorry

I'm sorry too! They look like such wonderful products, especially the Dessert Cream for sunburns! Wonderful that you can share them nation wide though!

Funny. The Desert Moisturiser wasn't made for sunburns but it must be the oils - probably the coconut and beeswax - that healed the sunburn! But you know @porters, people who don't know the power of natural products are blown away that they ACTUALLY WORK!!!

What is it, in it, that refers to desert? Did you put some Aloe Vera in it. What all did you use in that cream? Or is it your secret recipe!
Ya, some folks are just to accustom to just the store bought stuff that has some pretty weird ingredients in it, totally unaware to what natural ingredients can do for you!

Oh I am quite happy to share! It isn't aloe vera. Our area is semi-desert so I have two body butters named because of our home. The other one is Classic Karoo (the greater desert area is called the Karoo) And they are the most oil rich of all the body butters I make. They both have beeswax and coconut oil. The Desert one has extra jojoba (which grows very well here although still an extremely expensive oil). Additionally I add rosehip, evening primrose, vitamin E oil and ylang ylang

How wonderful that you have the jojoba growing there. Have you ever though of producing your own oils? Not sure what would be involved in that.
Nice combination with the rosehip, evening primrose, vitamin E oil and ylang ylang.
Oh how I wish I lived where you could ship it too. You would have a regular customer!
