Total cryptocurrency coinmarketcap broke 300 billion mark for the first time since August 2018
Its that time again folks if you been here long enough memories of 2017 is on play all over again. For the first time since August 2018, the total market cap exceeded 300 billion USD.
It would be interesting to see how it play out this time around but from experience cryptocurrency tends to move fast once it crosses a value. If you analyze the total marketcap of 2017 you would realize we moved from 300 billion to 600 billion real quick, in fact, in less than 4 week we added on another 250 billion to the total marketcap.
The overall market is in a much healthier place, the infrastructure has tripled with on-ramps and security at the highest point it has ever been. When you look at players involved in the market, it has tripled also and the quality of the players coming in is impressive with years of experience in traditional markets. The overall crowd has grown smarter, traders and investors also have a little more protection with the likes of SEC and CFTC monitoring on-ramps, demanding customer protection protection. Ironically, we haven't seen the best of this market with several products still awaiting approval from the SEC and CFTC, the likes that include a possible ETF.
Where you think the market is heading and what are the coins you betting on to do well in the short-term to medium term.

I think Bitcoin will surpass $10,000 today. From here we could easily FOMO up to $11,000-15,000 or even to $20,000. It all depends on whether people decide to buy or sell.
