Nothing to do with being brave, Ghana was one of the safest places we've visited and it would be a shame to stay from it!
I'm a little tetchy in these kinds of places and have had some close calls mostly due to naivety during my younger years.
Curious to hear those stories ... but you gained experience ... and all the doors are open :)
I almost got drugged, robbed and maybe raped in Jamaica, its a tale for another day.
