Very interesting, and a stock market drop like that might be good for hard assets.
However, stock markets sometimes follow 4-year cycles, with the current one starting in late 2015 - early 2016, four years then might give us a new low around late 2019 - early 2020. So I think we still might have one more push towards 3000 on the S&P 500 :)
