The Ownership and Control of the Bank of England.
In this report, I cover the early market action in London on Tuesday, September 16th, 2018. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market, and the oil price.
Today I look into the structure and nature of the Bank of England which is the Central Bank of the U.K. I look at the history going back to 1694 and more recently since 1946. The Bank of England was nationalized by the U.K. government in 1946 and is now legally owned by HM Treasury and the country.
My conclusion, from looking at who has been in charge since 1946, is that even though the Bank has been nationalized for over 70 years is that the people that owned most of the shares when it was private are still the people who have been in control of the Central Bank since 1946. These people are, in my opinion, the banking and aristocratic families of Britain.

Good morning mario, sir william patterson and lord montague founded the bank of england and yes the original loan for 1.3million pounds, could this have came from the failed darian project (the panama canal colony) which patterson promoted and was in charge of and bankrupted the scottish people, leading to the unification of scotland in to the forming of great britain? just my thoughts! thanks for the info and updates as usual my friend :)
Hi Andrew, I think you are spot on about what happened to Scotland. The Act of Union between England and Scotland was not that much later in 1707. These people always "kill two birds with one stone"!
