Crypto-Market Slides After Short Surge

But Not For Long...

The price of Bitcoin went from $8,000 to $9,750 in the last seven days, before falling back to $9,000 this morning.

Awakening

After what seemed like months of a spiraling downtrend, the crypto-sphere woke up in the last week or so. Recently https://coinmarketcap.com has been looking green on a daily basis. EOS saw gains of over 30% in a 24 hour time period and reached a price of $15 per token. STEEM reached $3.75 per token during the latest surge... and although it's retreating, I don't think it's done yet.

Bitcoin Chart (Last 7 Days)

Above you can see a Bitcoin chart from the last 7 day time period (April 19 - April 25). The line shows a rather steady increase until late last night when it began taking a dive. I believe this will only be a short dip before we head upwards toward $10,000 per token.

STEEM Chart (Last 7 Days)

A look at the last 7 days of the STEEM chart shows things are about to get very exciting. On April 25, STEEM dropped down to $3.00 before drastically spiking to over $3.75. A $7 STEEM token like we saw in early January might be right around the corner once again. A major Chinese crypto-exchange 'Huobi' announced the launch of STEEM trading earlier today, which could have much to do with the rapid increase in volume. It will be interesting to see where things go from here!
