Billionaire investor and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban replies to a fan that he will be able to purchase tickets with Bitcoin starting next season.
Mark Cuban promised a fan on Twitter that the NBA team he own the Dallas, Mavericks would begin accepting Bitcoin next season:
Mark Cuban seems to be a very confused and emotional man when it comes to Bitcoin. I can't tell which way he feels about it because he has held so many contradictory positions on it. He has both touted Bitcoin and called it a bubble and now he seems to be embracing it with his most noteworthy and forward facing business.
I hope this means Mark Cuban is on board crypto for the long haul we can use him, his TV show and that Twitter account as an ally for Bitcoin.

Mark Cuban is a very smart man and great owner . He knows what’s up and he will be second to none when taking chances to improve his team as well as his portfolio.
I agree, I think Mark Cuban is a great influencer amongst a majority of millenials including myself. His backing would be a great asset for the crypto community but would also do him some good in showing how forward thinking he is indeed
This is a great step in the right direction as cryptocurrency and blockchain gain more recognition from highly influential figures. Mark Cuban is a genius and has a lot of followers, keep in mind that the NBA may notice how many people use bitcoin to purchase tickets and may even adopt that policy or make it league-wide. This is monumental; however, there is the fear that bitcoin will continue to drop, the network will still be slow, and transaction fees will be outrageously expensive. Regardless, this is great news. Mark Cuban is one of many celebrities whose acceptance of bitcoin will be determined by what their peers say, FOMO, merchant acceptance, regulators’ responses, perceived value as the price rises & potential for greater gains & finally to stay relevant in the coming crypto economy.
