The Pyrus Cydonia And The Origin Of 360 Degrees.

Mankind measures time using concepts and established methods that are seldom considered beyond gaining the faculty of use.

There is a deep riddle hidden in the way that time and space is measured that needs to be explored more closely.

Why does a day have 24 hours?
Why does an hour have 60 minutes?
Why are there 360 degrees in a circle?

The answer to these questions will be provided by the Pyrus Cydonia.

Explaining why our clocks have 24 hours in a day, archaeologists and astronomers note that the Egyptians had a system of 36 star groups that divided the sky in to equal parts. The 12 constellations of the zodiac each have a pair of star groups above and below known as “decans”, similar to the decks on a ship.

The Egyptians counted 24 decans as they passed overhead each day (minus each central zodiac constellations on the ecliptic), starting at sunrise to the next sunrise. The question of why the 12 constellations at the ecliptic were not counted but only the star groups above and below them has not been answered.

The 360 degree circle is thought to have been retained from the Babylonians who inherited it from the Sumerians. The Babylonians used a peculiar sexagesimal (base 60) system. Although no one knows the reason they chose base 60 rather than the human hand inspired base 10, (What child doesn’t use their fingers to help assist when first learning the concept of numbers and counting?) it is theorized that the particular base was convenient for expressing fractions, since 60 is the smallest number divisible by 1 through 6, 10, 12, 15, 20 and 30.

According to many archeologists, written language did not emerge until its invention in Sumer, southern Mesopotamia, c. 3500 -3000 BC.

Even today primitive cultures exist in remote areas with no form of the written word. For such a culture, the question of traveling some distance would be an observation of how many days or “moons” the journey would take.

Although lacking an understanding of units of measure they could count objects and the idea of a ratio would be understood. For example, observant men might notice a uniquely bright and colorful star rising at dusk every 365 days. Still at this stage, there is no way to describe how long it might take for a certain star to be seen in the morning other than to say that the sun needs to rise X times between them.

Imagine that a space travel capable race had chosen the earth to inhabit in a time before Sumer and that these infiltrators had a unique method of spreading knowledge to newly contacted races. They would create systems of measurement specifically within the context of the planet.

How would this be done?

Earth’s axis is inclined off perpendicular 23.5 degrees to its obit of the sun, and this axis revolves or precesses, tracing a very slow circle in the heavens. The technically advanced “infiltrators” could easily discern that the Earth precessed at a rate once every 25920 times it completed a circuit of the sun. Notice that there in no need for a concept of a “year”. It is sufficient to describe the phenomenon in the context of the ratio of completed circuits.

Remember for the sake of this theory that there is not yet a system of measurement but so far, an Earth-based specific and constant ratio has been observed. This information is needed before creating measurement units for time and distance.

The circle describes the movement of the earth around the sun as well as precession. The circle describes a circuit. In geometry, (Greek “measuring the earth”) the circle is known as a regular polygon with sides approaching infinity. An equilateral triangle is the first or most basic with the least amount of sides.

(In Euclidean geometry, a regular polygon is a polygon that is equiangular (all angles are equal in measure) and equilateral (all sides have the same length). In the limit, a sequence of regular polygons with an increasing number of sides approximates a circle.)

Earth specific measurement units for time and distance can be created from the precession-earth/orbit-earth ratio, the circle and a simple polygon.

The advanced race understands the need for units of angular measurement and mathematically, the circle best describes angles. So far for the inhabitants on Earth, the circle has no number of sections or discrete “angles”. The space visitors will derive the value of angles from the earth/orbit-earth ratio, a simple polygon (which has the same components as a circle yet in its simplest form) and one very special number.

At this point, we will inject the very peculiar and particular nature of the race of “intelligent beings” in this scenario-theory.

• They are eternal and intelligent beyond the comprehension of men.
• They are not as restricted to the unidirectional linear time that mortal men experience.
• They were created to reflect, proclaim and convey God’s will and creation.
• A third of their kind are in conflict with their creator.
• They were created with a nature that compels them to reflect their image in all that they do while interacting with mankind.
• The earth is a focal point of their existence as they have destiny tied to earth and its human inhabitants.
• The fallen third have a powerful leader. This leader interacted with the newly created man on Earth in the Garden of Eden.

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit, of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Which of the simple polygons would be the most earth specific and representative of both infiltrator and man? For their measurement creation formula, the infiltrators choose the 3rd regular polygon, the five-sided pentagon.

David Flynn describes a fruit of a very specific quality and shape in his book, Cydonia, The Secret Chronicles of Mars:

The Land of Mu, Atlantis, Arcadia, the Golden Age, the Golden Fleece, the Holy Grail, the Philosopher’s Stone: these are all legends of a quintessential “something” that was sought after, lost but still possible to restore. The ethereal island of Apollo’s birth was appropriately renamed Delos (manifest, visible) at the advent of the god of wisdom. In myth we see the shining god and his female aspect having originated on an island, possessing the powers of future intervention in the affairs of men. Often the location of the primordial apple-god is not an island, but a garden; often the power of the apple-god is manifest in the form of a serpent-god … The Bible describes the original serpent and the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden. It was there that the subtle serpent offered Eve the wisdom of the apple. The Pentagon can be thought of as the most “golden” of all regular polygons. This is a quality that the angels appreciate.

• 5 is the length of the hypotenuse of the smallest integer-sided right triangle.
• 5 the only number in the Fibonacci series that at the same time reflects its value as well as its place in the series.
• There are 5 Platonic solids. (A Platonic solid is a regular, convex polyhedron. It is constructed by congruent regular polygonal faces with the same number of faces meeting at each vertex. Only 5 solids exist. Tetrahedron, Cub, Octahedron, Dodecahedron, Icosahedron).

David Flynn writes:

In nature, patterns of many flowering plants, leaves and fruits exhibit a five-fold symmetry, seeming to mirror a divine pattern that was thought to exist in the heavens. History recounts a story of Pythagoras, the legendary 5th C B.C. Greek philosopher and mathematician, who demonstrated this symmetry to his new initiates. When asked to teach a new pupil, Pythagoras handed him a knife and an apple. Eden can be considered the beginning of a circuit where the perfection of the coexistence with humankind’s Creator was interrupted and a void was created where everything was lost. A state of “lacking” replaced immortality, paradise, and communion with God. It was here in the garden that calamity occurred. Understanding what was lost, the nature of the interruption, and the creature that interjected itself into paradise are the keys to understanding the past, present, and future of mankind. The fruit of the knowledge of good and evil with its five-fold symmetry, symbolized the separation of man and God. To the serpent, it symbolized his newly acquired rule over the earth.

A question stems from the importance of the Pyrus Cydonia as it relates to the serpent and his fallen infiltrators. How long will their control over the earth last?

The cycle of the Aions, which is defined by the Earth’s precession gives an answer and necessitates the inclusion of the precession-earth/orbit-earth ratio into the angelic system of measurement equation.

David Flynn continues:

The Greeks defined the cycle of the Aiôn (life span) as the cosmic period between the creation and destruction of an age. The Greeks used a symbol – the Ouroboros, a serpent biting its own tail– to represent the Aion. The Ouroboros serpent symbol was said to be of Egyptian origin, very similar to a symbol transliterated from hieroglyphs as Uerounus.11 The Liddell-Scott-Jones Lexicon of Classical Greek defines Ouroboros as “devouring its tail” from the word ouraios (of the tail) and boros (to devour). The Aion, the cycle of time beginning and ending with cataclysm, is aptly represented by the Ouroborus, the Leviathan. A second question stems from the importance of the Pyrus Cydonia as it relates to the serpent and his fallen infiltrators. In what manner do they exert control over the earth?

The Egyptian legend of the god Set alludes to the controlling realms over the earth. Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, fashioned a beautiful cedar and ebony chest and held a banquet so that all could admire it. He told his seventy-two conspirator-invited gods that anyone who might fit inside would become the owner.

The number seventy-two today retains a special significance in light of the group of “evil gods” conspiring with Set. The magical text or grimoire written sometime in the fourteenth century called the Goetia (Greek: goeteia, “sorcery”) from the earlier Pseudomonarchia Daemonum or “Hierarchy of Demons,” lists the seventy-two demons that King Solomon summoned and put to the task of helping construct the first Temple. Solomon controlled the demons with a brass and iron signet ring bearing the name of God in the form of the Star of David.

The prophet Daniel alludes to the “powers” against the plan of God who reside over specific areas on earth. The angel speaking to him described his struggle with the prince of Persia (the demon who ruled the region) and was helped by the archangel Michael.

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” (Daniel 10:13)

The principalities that surround the earth are anchored on the twelve constellations. Adding twelve to both the north and south of the ecliptic (the decans) would make thirty-six equal areas in space said to be under the dominion of the fallen angels who are allied with the serpent. The surface of the earth mirrors the realm above, making up seventy-two regions.

David Flynn writes:

These pentagonal numbers are found throughout ancient myth and architecture of the Middle East. However the same geometry is displayed throughout the world incorporated in megalithic structures and their actual location under the earth-heaven alignment. For example, the megalithic site of Sacsayhuaman lies exactly on the 72nd meridian West of Greenwich. In fact the 3 greatest megalithic sites in Peru–Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu and Sacsayhuaman–all lie in a line straddling the West 72nd meridian. THE MAN/ANGEL/EARTH CYPHER

Since Eden, the pentagon (the shape of the Pyrus Cydonia) is the symbol of man’s state on earth as well as the fallen angel’s control over it, ruled by the prince of the power of the air. All the realms in total are 72. Combine this state symbolically into the symbol of the pentagon using the circle (representing the cycle of the Aion)

Remember, no system of angle measurement yet exists. The only way to do this is to section a circle (the most complex regular polygon – its number of sides approach infinity) into equal portions.

The pentagon will have the “realm control number” 72.

The 2 equations for creating a system of angular measurement within the context of a planet are:

a = Number of Earth-based angelic realms – yet unknown.

b = Divisions in an Earth-based unit circle – yet unknown.

a = 72 (On Earth, the number of “realms of fallen angelic control” just happens to be 72)

The Earth-based angular measurement of the pentagon is 72 degrees.

and the equilateral triangle has 60 degrees.

The first system of measurement has now been created. The dimensionless constant circle (a circle will have the same 360 equal sections (or degrees) no matter how big or small it is) and the pentagon will always display angles (now defined by the circle) of 72.

The Cydonia fruit symbol inside the circle is both an intended cypher for determining the cycle of the eons as well as the enduring legacy of how the system of measurement was initiated on earth.

To reiterate:

Angelic interaction with mankind led to the creation of a system of measurement where none existed before. The components of this system were:

• The fact that the precession-earth/orbit-earth ratio was 25920.
• The undetermined angles of the symbolic pentagon needed to reflect the angelically symbolic number 72.
• These were combined or contained in the circle via the 360 separate degrees. 25920/72 = 360
• It is not a coincidence that the angle in the pentagram multiplied by 360 equals the years in one procession cycle.
• The 360 degree separations in a circle were are result of angelic influence with mankind.
• The 360 degrees in a circle is the cypher of the Earth and gave the earth’s inhabitants an angelically influenced measuring system.

The fallen angelic beings are much preoccupied with their condition as well as their future.

Revelation describes the portion of angels that became earth concerned – centric.

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Rev 12:4

The fallen third part of heaven (the 33 percent) is an important part of modern day mysticism, Freemasonry and magic.

The earth was indeed “infiltrated” by fallen angels and this is referenced in Genesis, chapter 6.

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

The ancients knew the Nephilim hybrid offspring of the angels or “Watchers” and were greatly influenced by them. In the same manner that the establishment of a measuring system took place, the concepts brought about by the angelic interference led to a numbering system based on the regular polygons.

The first and most basic polygon is the equilateral triangle. Since an angular measurement system had been established, the value contained in the 1st regular polygon could represent or “reflect” the nature of the angelic influence on earth, forming a number base for systems of mathematics.

The vertices of the 1st regular polygon touch the “unit” circle in increments dividing it into 3rds.

A base-60 number system most directly honors the givers of the knowledge – the Watchers. The Babylonians too would use the system in devotion to the originators of the discernment of time and space and hold the mystery of its creation in high reverence.
