Colorado USA McDonald's Soon to Have Indoor Pot Smoking Domes.

Yes, you can now give yourself munchies while in McD's rather than the alley behind it before you go in thanks to Colorado's reasonable marijuana laws.

Fifteen locations will convert the current play areas that children only are allowed to enjoy to make way for a more suitable adults only "play area" which are called “smoking pods”. Which is a pity because what better thing to do while high at McDonald's than to play in the ball pit after hot boxing your dome.

I want to say less things that attract kids to McDonald's probably a good thing but what is going in it's place in my opinion isn't exactly ideal for children to see so casually.

Bongs, Pipes and joints are allowed but tobacco products are forbidden by law.

I'm a huge advocate for marijuana in all its uses and glory but how freaking hard is it to step outside for 5 minutes?

Is this a gimmick McDonald's is pulling to just to keep people coming in. They have seen sales drop significantly over the past few years as people are eating more healthy and even though McD's has changed its menu to more health related foods they just can't seem to wash that fast food fat image it is so associated with.

The company said they will not be selling pot or pot edibles though it doesn't sound like they are ruling it out in the future.
