I post a lot of food related stuff but my forte is actually cooking with cannabis. You can never go wrong with nut butter of some type and chocolate. ;)

The best pieces of advice that I can give you are:
write about what you are passionate about
create original content and if you use anything from someone else, list your sources...even if you make an original piece of art with your own hands but you were inspired by someone else's work, make sure to official note that.
Be consistent and try to post regularly.
Grow your followers and who you are following.
Comments that add value to the subject matter of the post are just as important as the post.
and work at building valuable relationships with other Steemians.
