D.I.Y Potato Pipe

Today I will be showing you how to make a simple, yet effective, potato pipe! Making the pipe is really easy and dare I say, fun!

You will need the following items to begin:

1. A potato (the sexier the better)
2. A Phillips head screwdriver
3. A cone-piece (also sometimes referred to as simply a 'piece')

STEP 1. - Top hole

Create the 'top hole'. You will want to inspect your potato first and determine where you will be putting your mouth. The hole should be placed towards the opposite end of the potato, just past the middle. Once you've decided on the location, gently insert the screwdriver. You will want to be careful here, don't use too much force or you'll risk pushing the screwdriver out the other side. Ideally the 'top hole' should match the size of the cone-piece. The screwdriver can be used to gently dig in a circular motion to achieve this.

STEP 2. - Mouth hole

Create the 'mouth hole'. Again, you will need to be gentle here. Insert the screwdriver into the location you chose for your mouth. Look down the 'top hole' until you see the tip of the screwdriver protruding through. You can slowly insert the screwdriver in and out to 'loosen it up' so to speak. You'll want your potato to have a clear airway, so place your mouth on the 'top hole' and give it a good blow. This will clear any excess potato gunk out of the holes.

STEP 3. - Completing your pipe

You've got your holes completed, now alls that is left is to insert your cone-piece into the 'top hole'. And voila! You now have yourself a beautiful handmade potato pipe! Congratulations!
