This is some good content, but it is dying for some photos!
There's a lot here, too. I think you could split it up over 2 or 3 posts and people would still be happy. Strategic use of header tags would help with SEO, too.

Well, this article is somewhere around 7000 words, which is pretty long. You could probably break it up even more than the 3 parts you outlined, with part 1 broken up into 3 or more parts. One part per chapter might even make sense, but maybe that's too small.
Heading tags will help break up the text, and they are something search engines look for:
The easiest thing to do would be to use header tags on the chapter or section headings you already have in all caps, using the header hierarchy as appropriate.

Pictures would help too. More detailed (like diagrams) could serve as a how-to; less detailed but relevant (pics of lights, rockwool, grow op setups) would give readers a break and keep them going.
