Canadians have always had a more liberal attitude towards Marijuana. 4 years ago i was told by a friend of mine that one of the Spanish Seed companies (Resin Seeds) had discovered by accident,that one of their seed strains called Cannatonic had a unique 1:1 ratio between THC:CBD. Cannatonic scored an amazing 6.9%CBD and 6.2% THC.
Most marijuana strains have very low concentrations of CBD (average 0.2%) CBD (cannabidiol) is the compound that most scientists feel is the most useful as medical marijuana.
My adult son has very ,very severe epilepsy. Gran mal seizures from the right side of the brain,petite mal from the left.
The owner of resin seeds had 6 customers indicate the a tincture of "Cannatonic" appeared to reduce the frequency of seizures.
I contacted the owner of resin seeds and he confirmed that his Cannatonic did cut down on the frequency and severity of seizures.
He gave me several seeds to try for my son, s epilepsy. I made a tincture with overproof Rum as the solvent.
The RESULTS.. my sons frequency and severity of seizures has been reduced by %90.
This was 2 years before CNN released their documentary "Weeds CNN"

Canadians still aren't as open minded as the majority of folks in the US... Your cannabis knowledge is extremely week especially compared to the science that's been discovered by yep the United States... Canadians copy everything we do yet act righteous because of your healthcare, etc... Mexico is light years ahead of Canada in my humble opinion...your also lucky that Canadians can sleep at night due our military that protects us...we could take over Canada tomorrow if the USA wanted...not saying that this country is perfect...we are probably the dumbest country in the world but also by far the most intelligent as well...Apple isn't based in Toronto or Vancouver for an example...what has Canada ever brought to the table?... Tar sands and other natural resources other than give me a fine example of the pioneering work and voice of reason that Canada is well known for EH?...the jaded ones will wither while the optimistic grow...smoke another one bra😳...interior BC has some fine powder though🏔⛷🎿🏂🏂🏂and I'm delighted to know that it helps your sons epilepsy but for some the cannabinol route isn't as good as some traditional routes like Depokote, Klonopin, Tegretol, Aptiom, etc... Not to mention high doses of particular vitamins, biofeedback seems to have more promise and is expanding at an extremely high rate, also the ketogenic diet of course being one of the oldest treatments, melatonin , all kinds of surgeries but at the end of the day there is no definitive cure✌🏼️✌🏿️Canada

Canada's population leads the world in cannabis consumption, a large majority of Canada's population favours outright legalization of recreational marijuana and Canada's recently elected federal government which made the issue part of their campaign plans to do so in the spring of 2017. To say that Canadians aren't as open minded about marijuana as the USA is just plain wrong.
I'm really unsure of what metric you are comparing Canada to Mexico. I would love to see some objective facts that support this assertion of them being light years ahead of Canada.
