Entrepreneurs Improving The Cannabis-Smoking Experience

in #marijuana8 years ago

There are currently millions of cannabis users in the United States and around the world, and for many of those cannabis smokers, the smell associated with their smoking is a problem for them. For many users, they don't want to bother their neighbors with the smell, or have the smell left on their clothes or in their hair; they want to be able to enjoy it more discretely.

Well, entrepreneurs are helping to make that possible by innovating tools that enable them to improve their cannabis-smoking experience.

One of those entrepreneurs is Brian Huynh and he started a company that provides filters so that cannabis users can rid their home of the odor of cannabis. His company, Sploofy, sells the smoke filters for roughly $19.99 and they are available in an assortment of colors. The replacement cartridges can also be purchased and they are 3 for $12.99 at the present time.

Huynh first sought to solve his own problem of ridding his own home of the odor associated with cannabis smoking and from there, it lead to the creation of his company so that many other individuals too could take advantage of the idea. He wanted to create a common household product that could easily be used in order to help with the smell of cannabis, something besides the already abundantly available options like sprays, air filter systems, incense, and candles etc.

Huynh started the company back in 2015 so that consumers of cannabis are able to exhale the smoke into the filter, rather than the air around them, and it retains the particles and smell with the use of a HEPA filter.

They are only designed to get about 300 uses, so after that you would need to purchase the replacement cartridges. But it certainly does provide a creative, simple, and cost-effective solution, for the millions of smokers who are looking for something that might be able to help with the unwanted smell.

Of course this isn't the only option available for those smokers who are looking to get a more discrete smoking experience. There are other similar filter options available on the market, and for those who are willing to spend a little more money, there are a number of different vaporizers that they could choose to go with as well.

As more people turn to smoking cannabis, there will be even more individuals then who will be looking for something that can help them to hide the smell, so that they can continue going to work and carrying on with their regular life activities without bothering others with the odor. That growing need has already prompted the launch of many innovative products in the market, and it's exciting to imagine what we might see introduced next.

There is a product called "Smoke Buddy" which accomplishes the same goal as the sploofy that you talked about. It has been around for at least 4 years but i'm not exactly sure. I believe it uses a similar type of filter system to that in which you mentioned. I've "heard" that it works perfectly every time, but needs replaced after 400-500 uses.

yes that's why i mentioned that there are other alternatives out there to this one :)

I'm hoping that this will bring more competition into the market, because I know Smoke Buddys cost around $20 in stores and $10-15 online depending on quantity. Headed in the right direction though I like it

cant wait to see what they come out with next

Smoking is very interested people, but it is not good for health. If one can maintain his health, although he smoked he remained healthy.
science is just me.
Thank you friends..

there are lots of things that aren't good for health. Like eating too many chips and sitting in front of the computer for too long. For some people, cannabis actually improves their health/standard of living dramatically, this is true for millions of people around the world suffering from a variety of illnesses. It's an amazing plant and people should be free to use it however they like. Thx for your feedback!

Maybe than some people think so, depending on their own ideas, but it was all according to how its use. I appreciate your answer to my brother @doitvoluntarily

#fact = no person has ever died from a cannabis overdose - it is a lot safer than plenty of other things that are out there today :)

yes it could be, because it is the usefulness of marijuana for flavoring food.

Nice post @doitvoluntarily!
I do think that anything that can remove the scent of wafting sunk will sell.
We've been looking into units to sell in our cooking supply shop that contain the smell of decarbing cannabis and I like this option a lot for handling smoke and vapour. I don't smoke myself, but I do a lot of cooking and some vaping. I can tell you, the smell is a huge issue for some folks.
