We the people of the United States

I declare the US government to be corrupt, obsolete, and without the consent of the people. We are free, we are power.

US attorney general Jeff Sessions has decided that he has authority over a state matter. The Obama administration set forth regulations that allowed the states to decide for themselves about marijuana. He did so because it's not the job of the federal government to dictate the lives of the people. The federal government is a foreign diplomat. They are responsible to protect our borders and encourage trade. What is legal/illegal is for the people to decide. State governments are in place to streamline the process of getting the populations opinions, and from those opinions our best chance of everyone getting along is formed. States such as California, Colorado, Washington, and many others have decided that marijuana isn't dangerous, the taxes benefit the state, and it creates jobs for people who otherwise would be unemployed. We will not subject ourselves to your unlawful attack on state law US attorney general Jeff Sessions.

I've been spending time in Maine where they're moving towards legalization and was feeling so inspired about where the Cannabis movement is going. The East Coast Cannabis Conference in November re-ignited my excitement about CBD and hemp and the progress in this realm. It was such a bummer to hear the recent news about this Sessions guy regressing the progress that's been made. I'm feeling your sentiment here!

Exactly what makes me think he won't get anywhere with it. It's almost as if he has a problem with all the good the plant has been proven to have. The medical benefits CBDs have, the phycological benefits THC has, the industrial benefits hemp has. Yet he is attacking it on what basis, cannabis has never reportedly killed anyone. It's a pointless fight with no more merit than alcohol prohibition.

Yes, exactly! I hope he is totally unsuccessful in his efforts ✊🏼

I sometimes question how much we even need a representative democracy in 2018. When you give all of the power to just a few people, they're almost always going to end up corrupt. Somehow, we need to given the power to the citizens and build a community in which everyone is supported and taken care of, not just the people at the very top.

Absolutely, life is being made far more complex than it needs to be. Greed for money and lust for power. Money that isn't even real, and power that can't be obtained. Don't we all deserve peace and freedom. We may agree while also may disagree on some subjects, but as long as we remain empathetic through social morals we can survive and push the human race to levels once thought impossible.

True words from all at the UK

This world is hitting a breaking point. If history has taught us anything it's that all grandiose plans to control the world will eventually fail. Romans, Religion, Hitler, ext. they all eventually become corrupt, drunk with power. The people of this world have access to much more knowledge, and that scares those that hold themselves in authority over others. How much longer until we realize we don't need them, that it's their lies that cause the world it's problems? I'd say it won't be long.
