Can Crypto Help Legalise Weed Even More+Whats your favourite spot to roll one up ?

So, the situation in the beer loving country of Germany is this:

An estimated 202 people die from the effects of alcohol everyday. Thats roughly 74.000 people a year. This number doesn't include alcohol related accidents.

Yet, alcohol is legal and has always been legal. Why ? Money. The state makes a ridiculous amount of money from the taxes all the sold alcohol brings with it. Part of this is also culture, since beer has been a German tradition for hundreds of year.

Nobody has ever died from using marijuana. It even has scientifically proven health benefits. This is an area where the U.S is one, if not two steps ahead. I just stumbled upon this article about POSaBIT, "a digital currency payments startup with a focus on serving legal cannabis outlets" on coindesk.com.

This got me to wonder: With the "power to the people" and liberalising aspect of cryptocurrencies, could that potentially have an impact to drive legalisation forward ? That would be extremely nice, especially here in Germany.

In the mean time, don't let any government tell you what to do. Live your life the way you would like to live it, but be aware of the consequences ;-)
