So it's common knowledge now that Marijuana is legal in a lot of US states, including Nevada.

I know this post has little to do with BASE jumping or any other extreme sports, but it is a blog after all and I do smoke weed.

If I could roll back time to back when I was 16 or 17 years old, the thought of being able to legally buy Cannabis in the USA in the future would seemed ABSURD.

So I was like a big kid when I got to the dispensary!

I was in Vegas as it was the last place I was visiting on my honeymoon, as we had got married in Southern California (where it is also legal for recreational use).

I did some research and I decided that REEF dispensaries was where I wanted to go and buy my weed.

My (non weed smoking) Wife walked to the industrial estate where REEF is located, it was quite close to Trump Towers if I remember and we underestimated how far it was as we were coming from The Mirage.

At first we thought we'd got seriously lost and started to become a little worried, but then at the end of the estate we saw limo's and Uber's pulling up and letting people out, so it had to be it.

We got ID'd on the door and asked if we were there for the free tour. I said "No, we are hear to buy weed", and he then let us in.

I did see some signs saying no photos etc, but of course I saw that as a challenge :p

The queue on the left was for 'Recreational smokers' and the queue on the right was for people with 'Medical marijuana' cards. The recreational queue had about a 10 minute wait, whereas the patient queue was had almost no line.

The bud tenders are behind glass, so it felt like I was in the Post Office or the Bank. They had a pit boss type guy in there over seeing everything, I'm guessing to make sure no one is handing out freebies to their friends, who knows.

You can see all the pre-rolled joints and concentrates behind them on the shelves. They also have another room out back with more, which is where they went to get my Girl Scout Cookies flower.

I also bought a disposable 600mg CBD pen as I knew I would be able to bring this back to the UK as it is not illegal.

I do vape CBD anyway, so it was kinda exciting too.

Had to get a photo of me walking out holding weed in a sealed child proof bag they put it all in. I sent this straight to my mates in England haha.

It's very hard to get in the UK, often people will tell you it's GSC, but at least from a dispensary you know exactly what you are getting.

My cousin, who lives in Los Angeles bought me a Vape Pen with a marijuana oil cartridge, so I could vape it while I was staying in Laguna Beach. This thing was f***ing amazing! Such an ingenious idea, and the high wasn't full on as he got me an oil with a high CBD to THC ratio, so I was able to suck on it without a whitey haha

This thing is a dream come true for first time smokers, as you can have a few tokes and wait 5 minutes, see how you feel and just keep doing that until you get the right high.

It's such a shame we don't have access to this in the UK, I LOVE this idea.

When I go back to California, the first thing I'm doing is buying one of those vape cartridges again!

New glass piece arrived today and I'm going to have a hit on it now with some Critical Jack I have (cross of Jack Herer and Critical Mass), its my favourite weed as the high is spot on what I'm looking for.

I best clean it first eh hehe
