What is inside the Mariana Trench
Such a mysterious place in the sea where only three people have been able to reach so far. That place is called the Mariana trench.
If you are feeling that the wonderful places of nature are only on the ground, then you need to visit this place named Mariana Trench once. But first know this wonderful thing.
What is Mariana Trench
Just as we have land above, in the same way the land remains under the water of the sea. But even in this sea land, there is a gap in many places. Somewhere more deep, sometimes less deep.
Near the Mariana Islands of America, there is a sea place where there are many trenches. And this group of trenches is called Mariana trench. There are many small and big gaps in this group.
Mariana Trench site
The shape of the Mariana Trench is like a crescent moon in appearance. Its length is 2,500 km and width is 69 km. Only a ditch remains in this area.
But the deepest gap in these is named Challenger deep. It is not only the group of Mariana Trench but also the deepest trench in the whole world. Many secrets are hidden in this abyss. So let's know those secrets.
History of Mariana Trench
This thing is from the year 1875. A British ship (HMS Challenger) was on a sea journey. This ship had left only for the exercise of the sea. But on the way they found this ditch. At that time there was not much technology, so this gap was measured through a rope.
The depth that came out on measurement stunned everyone. This depth was as much as 8 km. This ditch was also named Challenger deep after the ship that discovered this ditch.
But the search did not stop there. In the year 1951, the British people again sent one of their ships (HMS Challenger-2) for sea exercises. This ship again measured it through its new technology. But this time it was deeper than before. Around 11 kms.
Think of a distance as 11 kilometers from where you are now. Now from where you are, think of that distance as a height in your mind. Yes, that's just the depth of that ditch.
What's special about this Challenger Deep – Challenger deep
If you jump in the sea, you will be able to go up to 70 meters only. Because after this the pressure of the water on us will be so much that our body will not be able to get jail. As you go down, the water pressure on you will increase. And when you reach the end point of Challenger Deep, you will have as much water pressure as 100 elephants can hold on you.
People arriving – Mariana trench
Thousands of people have reached Mount Everest, which is the highest mountain on the earth, but so far only 3 people have reached Challenger Deep, the world's deepest ditch.
For the first time in the year 1960, two people named Jacques Piccard and Don Walsh went to this dangerous ditch. After five hours of travel, the car finally reached the end point of the Challenger deep. There he spent as much as 20 minutes. But due to excessive darkness and dust, they could not record anything.
When he made this journey, some scientists were quarreling over whether there is marine life at such depth or not. But Piccard said that he had seen a small fish-like creature there. He also said that life can exist at such a depth of the ocean.
This thing was very surprising. Because under such pressure even bones break and shatter. So neither bones nor life. But recent practice has shown that there are many types of creatures living there. But how can this happen. It is a wonder of nature to have life in such a deep sea where even the light of the sun does not reach.
A Hollywood director named James Cameron reached the end of this Challenger Deep Ditch in 2012 through his own designed submarine. If you do not know who this person is, then let me tell you whether you have seen the movie Avatar or Titanic. The name of the creator of that movie was James Cameron.
There he also recorded something with his camera. Watch this video of his journey, you will understand very soon.

The mysterious shark – Mariana trench megalodon
When such a wonderful thing of nature comes to the fore, its stories are also made like it is believed that in the Bermuda Triangle there is a door to another world of aliens, in the same way, the story here is that megalodon lives at the bottom of the Mariana trench.
Megalodon is the same dreaded fish or say monster fish that weighs as much as 20 tons and has the power to comfortably drag the T-rex dinosaur underwater. You may have seen the Hollywood movie This Shark. If you have seen then definitely tell the name of the movie in the comment.
Mariana Trench – Pollution in Challenger deep
There is no doubt that Challenger Deep is a wonderful creation of nature, but the question arises as to how long it will be safe. This is a place where it is very difficult for humans to reach. But if we cannot reach then what happened, our garbage is reaching there.
This deep ditch has been practiced several times over the years. To know how is the marine life in such depth but there we have to p.o.p. met. It is a chemical waste that was discontinued in 1970, but unfortunately the rest of the waste got into the ocean.
It is not common to find garbage there. They also pose a threat to marine life. Allen, the leader of the mission from which this waste was detected, said that "See what effect we humans are having on the earth and the sea."
Let us now know some strange facts of the Mariana Trench.
About Mariana Trench - Facts about Mariana Trench
Challenger Deep, the deepest trench in the Mariana Trench, was formed due to the collision of two large plates. This event is 18 crore years old.
During the current research, many creatures have come before us which are worthy of living in that place. An octopus which is transparent and a white fish that looks strange.
If we talk about the deep life of the Mariana Trench, then more than 200 types of creatures have been found there.
On June 8, 2020, China has also practiced this trench, and sent its submarine to Challenger Deep, the deepest trench in the Mariana trench.
Do you know the height of Mount Everest? About 9 kms. But the depth of Challenger Deep is 11 kilometers. Even if you lift Mount Everest and put it in this ditch, it will still be left as deep as 2 kilometers.
