Some intelligence “assets” pawns are recruited on their way to stardom. These have various career doors opened for them to put them in positions where they can help the spy agency that controls them. A clue to this type is in a marginally talented person who wins an award show or who gets hyped and pushed beyond his or her talent level.

I saw Phyllis Hyman spiral out of control, but I didn’t have a clue how to save her. The same with the beautiful and talented Brenda of Brenda and the Tabulations. She used to sleep over at our house when she and my sister, the author Allison Hobbs, sang together. Brenda mentally was a mess. But I didn’t know how to rescue her. I watched poor Whitney get eaten alive by drugs and her alters appetites.
Mariah has the las hall of fame voice on our planet. She doesn’t just need an intervention, she just needs an extraction.
