RE: 🏆 [CONTEST] Appreciate Your Fellow Steemians And Win Free SBD

in #mapsters6 years ago (edited)

Thanks for giving us an opportunity to appreciate the people who have encouraged us, @simplymike.

As many have already mentioned, it's unfair to restrict the appreciation to 2 people as we come across so many people on day to day on Steemit and most of them would have made their contribution in making our journey on Steemit a smooth one, although not all are having that mindset.

Since I have to restrict the naming to 2, I would like to take out the names @fulltimegeek and @abh12345 as my 2 Steemians I would like to appreciate primarily.

By this time, it's already known to most of the people who are part of this blog that who is @fulltimegeek. We have already said many times about him, but I would like to just recollect that one more time why we admire @fulltimegeek. WITHOUT his efforts to create #stewardsofgondor group by delegating most of his SP to 50+ people, I wouldn't have got a chance to know so many wonderful people of SOG and also the next group of people of #newbieresteemday of which me and you are part of. So, my first person whom I would like to thank and appreciate is @fulltimegeek.

Second, it has to be @abh12345, because being a fellow SOG, I got to know him and got to interact with him,but what really changed and inspired me is the way he started inspiring the SOG's and other Steemians with his reports on SOG's first then with curation leagues which gave me (and I am sure other SOG's as well) an opportunity to look into our performances as Steemians in terms of better utilization of SP and also to help fellow Steemians with gift of SP we got from @fulltimegeek, I can confirm that, the reports and curation leagues from him have really helped me to improve myself and be a better Steemian.

Now, as I said, it's unfair to restrict myself to only 2, as there are many we have come across who have helped me in one or the other way.

I have to first remember @c0ff33a, my another fellow SOG whom I knew before becoming an SOG, and it's my interactions with him which made me feel that I can write something and do something good on Steemit. Besides his blogging, he has inspired many with his real life work of Coffee brewing and also with his encouraging messages on Steemit.

I have to remember @mihail.tsvetkov, another great individual who has started almost at the same time on Steemit and we are going in neck to neck in terms of reputation and we still keep discussing on life and things on Steemit. His friendship goes back to my initial days on Steemit when I use to conduct some giveaways in order to gain some followers and help newbies with my little SBD contribution.

I think the initial interactions I had with @binkley and team of @steemthat helped me to reduce my timing of working on transfers as steemthat.com has some wonderful tools to handle the complex things on Steemit, so my vote of gratitude goes to this wonderful individual of @binkley and group of @steemthat.

The list goes on and on as this list will be incomplete with out remembering my fellow #stewardsofgondor like @goldendawne, @wwf, @hitmeasap, @cranium, @samiwhyte, @cheneats, @fabiyamada, @greenrun, @lyndsaybowes, @mikepm74, @taskmaster4450 and many others with whom I had so many fruitful interactions.

I can't forget this recent group of #newbieresteemday and it's members like @davemccoy, @beeyou, @amariespeaks, @charisma777, @mudcat36, @lynncoyle1, @bashadow, @maverickinvictus, @cryptkeeper16 and ofcourse you @simplymike.

The list will keep growing if I have to name each and every individual, so let me restrict it here and say a Thank you to all who have helped me with their level of information, level of SP and whatever they have and inspired me to be what I am today.

Good day to all and thanks again @simplymike for giving me this wonderful opportunity to remember the great souls I have come across on Steemit.

@coolguy123, thank you so much for including me, in what I think, is such a beautiful tribute to your time here on steemit! This is such a wonderful opportunity given to us by @simplymike to actually take a few minutes and really appreciate all of the people who have affected us in some way! I truly believe the more we all really see each other here, the better our entire community will be because of it!

Thank you :)

100% agree with you @lynncoyle1. I am already trying to recollect my days of interactions with #stewardsofgondor and I feel like I am getting in that direction with these interactions with members of #newbieresteemday and some members from that wonderful group of #stewardsofgondor.

Great to have more friends and have those nice interactions which we can cherish.

Aww that's sweet...and so true!! It's funny; I've only been here a few months, but I already can't remember for example, the first time I met @davemccoy (I know it was before he and @mudcat36 started @newbieresteemday, because I was there for its' inception;), but it seems like it is something that just is, like there's no real beginning to it all...probably like SOG for you:)

Great to have more friends and have those nice interactions which we can cherish.

Well said my friend :)

Well actually as you said, we can't remember everyone, my bad, I totally forgot to mention my introduce to Steemit, there is a person called @composer, who introduced me to Steemit one fine day in September last year. I owe a lot to that guy.

The more we think on it, the more we remember names! It's amazing what happens in a year :)

That's true, it's hard to recollect all the people we have come across.

Good day to you :)

thank you for mentioning me @coolguy123 ! I just wanted to pop in and show my appreciation to you as well! Thanks for everything you do on here!

Thank you @amariespeaks. contribution from me is very less compared to what you you and others have done to encourage the newbies.

The moral support, the appreciation, the encouragement given by you guys is way more than what I do and I am always grateful to you guys for giving me an opportunity to be part of your work.

Thanks a lot for joining, coolguy123.
It’s indeed hard to pick just 2 (That’s the reason I didn’t want to do it myself. I wouldn’t even be able to narrow it down to six, as there are so many people who inspire me every day.)

I like your picks. Most of the people on your list I’ve come across too, and they would be on my list just as well.

Thanks for pointing my nose at @binkley and @steemthat again. I have lost the connection a bit since my surgery. Mainly because my SteemThat password is on my main computer, which is off limits. But today , I think I’m going to cheat a little and look it up to be able to reconnect to them. They have a great thing going on there.

Once again, thanks for joining. I was starting to think that fellow members with a reputation of 60 or higher had no one to thank anymore - lol, since @apolymask was the only one who took a little time to write something. Thaanks for proving me wrong. I really appreciate it.

Thank you @simplymike. Glad to be part of this, I never think much about reputation level or mingling with people below my reputation level.

I like your picks

Yes, these 2 guys will be my automatic choice and I have gained and learned a lot from both these wonderful guys.

As for as @binkley and @steemthat is concerned, even I am not much active on that website initially because of the delegation I got from @fulltimegeek and additional responsibilities I received with that.

I was starting to think that fellow members with a reputation of 60 or higher had no one to thank anymore

Well, everyone has to start with a reputation level of 25 and without the help of others, it's literally impossible to climb up the ladder unless I am someone with very huge monetary background and would like to invest directly Steemit and gain from that. I am not that kind of guy and I am always on ground when I thank someone, it literally means that.

Thank you again for this initiative and good luck with what you do.

Thanks.
It’s indeed impossible to climb up without supporting and getting support.
Of course I know everyone is busy - so am I - lol - I didn’t expect to get this number of replies - so I meant nothing with it. Meanwhile Asher - who else - has taken the time to reply too. Thanks for not forgetting where you came from, @coolguy123 - the name suits you ;0)

Thanks for not forgetting where you came from, @coolguy123 - the name suits you ;0)

Some things learnt from experience will never go off and it's not good to lose them once you are out of that. And I think that not only applies to Steemit, but to our life as a whole.

It's always nice to get comments from someone like Asher. I think all the people who are par of curation leagues owes him including me.

I am happy to put this nomination above mine @coolguy123... What a great tribute to 2 amazing leaders @fulltimegeek and @abh12345. I agree with you that both of them should be appreciated and respected by all. Many have seen what FTG is doing and of course he is legendary to many, but I still think he is underappreciated for what he has done with his SOG program and now with the flagwars. As far as Asher, I think he is super-underappreciated. He has single-handedly brought many of us together with his leagues and also with his respect that he has shown us all!

Love to see you engaging so strong too @coolguy123... You are a force youself... One day we will all be part of one big team that is truly helping many in this beautiful world! :)

Here is a new giphy banner made by @amariespeaks that you can use anytime you like! It looks really cool to me so I thought the @coolguy123 might like it too ;)

Thanks for affirming my 2 nominations, and I am 100% sure those are the best 2 guys for me as they mean a lot to me in shaping my journey on Steemit.

Thanks for that wonderful gif, thanks to @amariespeaks :).

It is so nice to see so much appreciation on one page! @simplymike had an awesome idea with this contest! No matter who wins we are all winning when surrounding ourselves with such great people! Thank you @coolguy123 you ALL are an amazing part of my day!

True. I couldn’t have imagined this, not even in my wildest dreams. I was expecting like 5 comments, and then life would go on. This was the best birthdaygift a girl could get :0)

It’s going to be hard to select a winner. But it is like you say: we’re all winners, being surrounded by so many awesome people...

This was the best birthdaygift a girl could get :0)

Really? Happy Birthday @simplymike, I hope you had a blast. May god give more strength to you write more comments and support you to hep many more :)

Thanks @coolguy123
I did have a blast. People on SteemIt have made me run around with a big smile all day long :0)

It is so nice to see so much appreciation on one page

Yes, I think after Asher's leagues, this is the blog (there might be others, but I haven't come across one) where I see so many people have commented, thanks to @simplymike.

No matter who wins we are all winning when surrounding ourselves with such great people

That's true, whoever wins, advance congratulations to them. But, this blog has given an opportunity to take time out to appreciate others and get a chance to interact with some of our old friends with whom we might not have spoken in some time. :)

Good day my friend.
