Two New Danbo Pickups
I finally got the two danbos I ordered from Japan about a month ago and im super excited to add them to the collection. As it stands there are only a handful that I dont have at this point and these two helped close up that gap a bit.
The first one you can see is the Daimaru danbo which came out in 2014 and was only available in stores in Japan. This makes it very hard for someone like me to get my hands on one so I ended up buying it from Mandarake online , which is a collectible store in Japan.
In fact both of these I ended up getting from Mandarake because they usually are low priced and even though their products are used, they are in very good condition. I have never been disappointed from Mandarake so I usually browse them first.
The second Danbo I got is the T-Card danbo which came out pretty recently from what I can find, but at the same time I cant find much about it. I know I dont have it in my collection so I saw a single one for sale and scooped it up as quickly as possible. Its blue and yellow coloring makes it look like its from Ikea but it stands out among the other ones I have in my collection.
Both these Danbos are a really cool addition to my collection and for the moment, im not actively looking for any of the older ones that I missed out on. Going forward I will probably only buy the new releases which I will wait until a few of them end up for sale so I only have to pay shipping once. I would love to hear if any of you guys have a collection and to share a picture below!

Those are some neat little figures, man! I've got a small collection going of Funko Pops if that counts, lol. Haven't managed to take a picture of all of them together though, as I only pick them up sporadically when I've made a bit of extra money from Steemit. I'm sure my small collection is dwarfed by many other people, haha.
I'm just curious, how much did the shipping from Japan set you back? I noticed that a lot of companies in Japan won't ship to the US, so you have to go through 3rd parties to have your stuff shipped to you and the prices can get insane.
Funko pops definitely count! You should take a picture of them and post them here I wold love to see them. Japanese shipping really depends but I think I paid around $5 per figure and it takes a while to get here. It isnt great but its decent. I dont use proxy services now that mandarake ships to the US, but I used to and that added fee was a pain as well. Check out mandarake if you like any of the Japanese figures, you can find so many cool goods there. I would love to visit one in person one day in Japan. I would be there for hours X) https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/
If the weather stays okay here over the next couple of days I'll haul them outside and try to get a good group shot of them without looking like a psychopath to my neighbors, haha.
I'll check out the site and see if there's anything I'd like to snag up. If they have plushies or anything I might grab one for my fiancee since our anniversary is coming up. Also, yeah, if I ever have the money to go to Japan I will certainly be doomed. I can only imagine the dried up husk of a man I'll turn into while running from shop to shop checking out all of the cool figures, video games, Pokemon, etc. I'll probably have to have an I.V. attached to my arm as I won't want to do anything but window shop, lol.
