“We Are the Champions” Mandela Effect and Residue—The Queen of the World?

In this post, I wish to bring your attention to a reported example of the Mandela Effect and its existing residue. For the uninitiated, the Mandela Effect is a phenomenon involving a large portion of the population having memories about historical events or pop culture that do not match the current record. It is named after the South African civil rights leader and president/ violent communist revolutionary that many recall passing away in the late 80’s or early 90’s when he actually died in 2013. There is some compelling reside (persisting evidence of the assumed prior version of history), however, in this case, I do not have the occluded memory as my college roommate met Mandela and had a photograph with the African leader n his bedroom.

Yet many of the other commonly cited examples have left me bewildered. Queen’s song “We Are the Champions” contains such an example. If you have not heard of this example of the Mandela Effect before and are familiar with the song, I encourage you to go listen to the original version of the song (

However, the “of the world” at the end does appear in other places, sounding exactly like the studio recording but differing only it seems in the conclusion. This is the residue. When I first learned about this, one particular instance stuck out in my mind. As a young lad, one of my favorite movies was “D2: The Mighty Ducks.” I have a clear memory in my mind of the final scene of the movie: the Ducks sit arond a campfire celebrating their victory over the evil Icelandians as Queen’s song is heard in the background. The team starts to sing along, the whole track plays, and, as the scene fades out and the credits roll, there is Mercury’s emphatic “of the world!” Convinced of this, I found the clip on Youtube (

), and, lo, it’s still there.

So how do we make sense of this? There are many theories about what is causing the Mandela Effect by its proponents online. Some say it’s time travellers altering our timeline. Others insist it is a result of CERN tampering with the building blocks of reality. Some others think we are no longer living on the original Earth or in the same dimension and these inconsistencies are products of this fact. I take a different position on the matter. I believe that the living Earth, the divine being known as Gaia-Sophia along with a slew of other names from world mythology, "the power that causes the leaves to change color in the fall, let’s see CERN do that," (Lash) is hacking into the internet and reality as we know it. Furthermore, genuine cases of the Mandela Effect are clues and cues sent to us by Her to alert us to imminent changes coming for the planet.

This is not my unique idea. It has been proposed and eloquently elucidated by John Lamb Lash, modern Gnostic scholar, author of Not in His Image and metahistory.org, in his Mandela Effect Decoded Youtube series (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCse9F5zX--t-hpiUooNegZA). This may seem far-fetched at first, it was to me, but if you listen to the talk and study the subject on your own, my bet is that at least a few examples will leave you scratching your head.
So, let’s assume you are with me so far, and can accept or at least entertain all this for a moment. Your next questions may be “So what? What could this selective omission be trying to tell us. Well….

First of all, the band’s name can be seen as referring to the true Queen of the World, our Planetary Animal Mother (PAM for short). Next, consider that the missing final line prompts many singing along to sing out the concluding “of the world,” then causes confusion when it is missing. Thus do I postulate that the clue is that “the champions of the world” are missing or have not yet come forward. “Champion of the world” can mean the world’s #1, the champion over all others, but it can also mean a champion for the world, as in to name a champion to fight in your stead or to champion a cause. So the missing champions are the warriors that should be standing beside Gaia and fighting alongside against all Her enemies, human or otherwise.
