Lukaku loved what he heard

Paul Pogba's been named as the hero who convinced his mate Romelu Lukaku to join Manchester United, but it was really all down to Jose Mourinho.
Lukaku felt that he could not turn down Mourinho's offer after hearing his plans to "rebuild the club."
Most expected the 24-year-old to go back to Chelsea only for United to come in and the last minute and upset their rivals' plans.
While Pogba used to drive the Belgium international past Old Trafford to persuade him to make the move to play with him it was the manager's plans that helped him make up his mind.

Lukaku explained: "At the end of the day I had to make my own choices."
"It was the conversation I had with the manager that really convinced me the most, the plans and how he wanted to rebuild the club and he wanted me to be part of it.
"I am grateful for the chance."
Mourinho has already brought in Lukaku and Victor Lindelof this summer and hopes to add a third and fourth new signing to the ranks before the window closes as part of his rebuilding.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could also be given a new contract when he recovers from his injury but until then it will be up to Lukaku to fill the goalscoring void left by the Swede and Wayne Rooney.
But the striker is ready for the challenge: "It feels great (to be a United player)," Lukaku said in Washington. "It is something I always wanted.
"I always wanted to play for a club of this stature. Now I am here I want to take my chance and try to deliver as much as I could for the club.
"I don't want to talk about personal ambitions. I just want to work hard on a daily basis and win as many games as I can."
