Mammillaria solisioides is a cactus. It is called mother of hundreds because it forms large clumps, up to 3 feet wide when grown outdoors. The spines of the cacti are either straight or hooked. Many small flowers, in a variety of colours, are borne between the tubercles in rings around the plant below the tip. Mammillaria are also known for their air-purifying qualities. The cactus mustn't be exposed to prolonged dampness and sitting water. Lastly, make sure to fertilize during the growing season for the best results.
