Penang, Malaysia: Art Hunting (Tr&Eng)
A week ago we were in Malaysia. We flew to Georgetown, Penang. This city is quite a hit place known as street art.It is on top 10 island to explore before you die.Penang has a rich heritage, architecture, and multicultural society. The center of George Town has been on UNESCO World Heritage Site list.
Bir hafta önce Malezya Penang’ı keşfettik. Georgetown oldukça popüler bir turist noktası ve şehir merkezi. turistlerin uğrak noktası. hatta ölmeden önce ziyaret edilmesi gereken 10 adadan biriymiş. Penang tarihi açıdan, mimari ve çoklu sosyal yapısı açısından oldukça zengin. Hatta George Town UNESCO'nun dünya mirası listesinde.
In 2012, Ernest Zacharevic created 6 piece art series related to Malaysian culture and lifestyles. Now it becomes a huge street art gallery.
I loved this city because it is different than other touristic places. You need to discover city. While you are walking, you need to look around, see the details, not your phone.
Bu şehri sevdim çünkü öyle klasik turistik yerler gibi değil. Şehir içinde birçok sokak sanatı barındırıyor. Ama gezip keşfedip bulmanız lazım, saatlerce yürümek lazım, telefona bakmak değil .
Each street hides the different story. You need to figure it out. I was so excited when I walk into those streets. It is also so strange. Every street is so different than each other; China town, Little India, Ghost Streets, food street, Bar street... It felt like entering in a different country.
Her sokak başka bir hikâye saklıyor içinde. Söylemesi benden, keşfetmesi sizden. Sokaklar o kadar farklı ki birbirinden.
Küçük Cin, küçük bir Hindistan, hayalet sokaklar, yemekli sokak, barlı sokaklar... Her sokak başka bir ülke.
The other thing I loved about this city was food. I enjoyed Indian food so bad😋 Samosas, roti, naans, curry... I think it has best Asian street food.
Bir diğer sevdiğim şey bu şehir hakkında Hint yemekleri. Bence Asya’nın en iyi sokak yemekleri burada.
