Making Your Purpose Count - How To Make Your Purpose Really Count
Have you ever felt a little blocked in your life and wondered how you are supposed to make your purpose count? Maybe you have a family that is causing consternation. Maybe you are stuck in a job you hate. There are many things that can prevent you from living the life you want. If you have ever felt this way, chances are you might be missing out on a very important aspect of life.
When we are living our lives, we tend to do a lot of things that don't serve us very well. We may go to the gym for an hour or two, then go home for a few hours, do some work, go to church, then spend time with our families. It's a lot of activities that do not lead to much in the way of happiness. You could add up all of the activities that take up your time on a daily basis and maybe even add in a couple more that just don't seem like they fit into the plan. What you get left with is a list that is looking somewhat like an invoice.
Wouldn't it be easier to just pick up the phone and call those numbers you are wanting to call? Wouldn't it be more rewarding to get up in the morning and think about the things you want to do? Wouldn't life be better if you could feel more energetic instead of more tired and run down by the end of the day? Making your purpose count doesn't have to be difficult.
You should be grateful for the things you have in your life right now. These are the things that will make it through the hard times and the rough patches. You shouldn't let life pass you by, especially when you are young. Life is short, so enjoy it while you can. Use the time you have to enjoy other things as well.
Making your purpose count means watching the small things in life. If you are having a hard time making a decision, ask yourself what might have been a good choice in life. Sometimes we base our decisions on what we think others would think, but it might have been a wrong choice in life to begin with. The same goes for the people around you; they may not understand, but they probably think that life is just a matter of luck and opportunity.
When you are young, life has lots of chances to make the wrong choices. You are more impressionable and more impulsive, which can lead to bad decisions sometimes. You can learn from these mistakes and turn them into good decisions. This is one way that you can make your purpose count.
