Pink/Purple Glitter Cut Crease
If you want to improve and get better at your passion, job or hobby. Then you need to do some changes and let your old habit go away for a while to see if you can get better at something new.
That’s what I’ve been into lately. I never could do a cut crease or get any perfect lines and then a week ago or so, I started teaching myself the best way of how to do a cut crease. I’m really happy with my improvements so far but you always can get better at it! Just keep doing what you love.
Today’s eye makeup look is a Pink/Purple Glitter Cut Crease. I basically just tried it out that moment while taking pictures as well. I never know if the makeup look is going to be good but I rather take pictures while I’m coming up with a look rather than not save a good moment of makeup.
So here it is:
Step 1: Tape.
I would recommend doing your eyes first before applying the base of your makeup because of the glitter flakes.
Take a piece of tape and place it from the lower lash line following the end of your brow as you would use tape for a winged eyeliner.
Step 2: Concealer.
Add a concealer to your eyelid area that’s lighter than your skin tone. Use a brush or dampened sponge to blend the concealer over the entire eyelid area and blend it into the skin.
Don’t set the concealer!
Step 3: Pink.
With a blending brush, dig into a vibrant pink shade and dab the shade at first into the crease and then start blending. Blend the shade through the whole crease line.
Step 4: Purple.
Now add a deep purple on a small and dense brush and place it a bit lower than the pink. Try to keep up with the pigment. Add more if you need to.
Step 5: Blend.
Blending the two shades into one another can cause some loss of pigmentation. Go back and forth between the two shades while you are blending the shades into each other.
Step 6: Cut the Crease.
Using the concealer from earlier, apply a bit to your mobile lid. Open up your eyes wide to find your natural crease and create a guide line.
Use a concealer brush to cut the crease and blend the concealer all the way out until your touch the piece of tape.
Don’t set it!
Step 7: Cool-toned Pink.
Using a shade that later on will match the glitter flakes is the best option to make it pop later on. Use a cool-toned pink shadow (if your glitter is in the same color) and apply it over the entire mobile lid area.
Press the shadow onto the concealed area to make it stick to the concealer as well as set the concealer. Use a flat eyeshadow brush for that.
Try to keep a very thin line between the purple and the cool-toned pink so that you know where your crease line is.
Step 8: Conceal the Line.
If the line isn’t as visible anymore, go in with some concealer again and a very fine brush to recreate the line.
Step 9: Purple again.
Use a flat, dense eyeshadow brush to bring back some purple. Reapply the purple back to the area where you had applied it before, which is above the concealed crease line.
Step 10: Glitter Glue.
Before applying anything that has to do with glitter, applying glitter glue at first will help it stick and last longer.
Use any type of makeup brush that works for you (in my case a lip brush) and add some glitter glue on the back of your hand or directly on the lid and blend it all over where the cool-toned pink is visible.
Step 11: Glitter.
With the same brush or take a new one, pick up some glitter and press it onto the lid. Apply it over the area where you used the glue to make it stick and do not move.
Step 12: White Eyeliner.
Take a white liquid liner and follow the concealed crease line with it. Make sure that the line looks as good and even as possible.
Step 13: Black Eyeliner.
Now take a black liquid liner and create a winged eyeliner with it and keep it thin and sharp. Just follow your natural lash line until you reach the tape and you can’t go wrong with it.
Step 14: Tape & White Liner
It’s time to take off that piece of tape and clean up any fall out. Then you can take a white eyeliner pencil and apply this to your lower waterline.
Step 15: Lower Lash Line.
With the same flat eyeshadow brush I used before, I mixed the vibrant pink with the cool-toned pink together and pop this on my lower lash line to wrap the look all in.
Step 16: Mascara.
Add some of your favorite mascara to your lashes to complete the eye makeup look.
This could be the finished look but you also could to some extra steps.
Step 15: Additional Steps To Change The Look.
• Add pink highlighter to the inner corner and brow bone
• Add a blue liquid lip topper/eyeshadow to the crease line to cover up the white line.
This is what I came up with for you guys! I hope you like the look and if so, I would be so happy if you could give this tutorial an upvote!
