Pacifica Beach Crystals Tutorial and Review
Good Morning, and welcome back. Today I wanted to give you a little tutorial and review of a pallet I stumbled upon in m collection. I am pretty sure I received it from an Ipsy or Boxy Charm subscription, but I can't seem to remember. But anyways, I wanted to show you how I used it and my thoughts.
First let's look at the swatches.
They are definitely lacking in pigment, very sheer, very shimmer-ey, but not too bad to work with. I have worked with worse. When I first swatched these, I had the thought of how poor they were, but I remembered a review from another beauty blogger about a Charolette Tilbury pallet that was (while different colors) the same in the light pigmentation and it was actually MADE to be that sheer of pigments. So I thought, well maybe that's what this one is doing as well. So I went ahead and used them in a tutorial for you.
While they were sheer on the swatch, they did perform a hair better on my eyes. I like the light Spring look I got from this little pallet and I think I am going to see what other looks I can get from it.
For my blush, I used the Revlon cream blush in Smitten. For lips I lined them with Milani's pencil in Nude and then used the Katy Kat gloss in Candy Cat.
I will use this pallet again, especially now that it's Spring, I think it will be beautiful for a sweet Easter look. The shadows do not feel powdery to me, and they were easy to blend and work with. I sometimes feel that, while we judge pallets on their pigmentation, we need to step back and think, "did the makers of the pallet, intend to make these shadows this sheer?" "Or is it a faulty pallet indeed?"
But that's just my few cents on the matter. So I hoped you enjoyed this tutorial and review and will come back again to see what else I'm up to here at 523.
Until next time, take care.

You are here morning and night here. So good night
Good night to you as well!!
Love your posts! Have you ever thought about streaming on Dlive?
I'm a little nervous to do a live stream, with no editing or any ways to correct any mistakes....it seems like it would be fun though, maybe just play around with it a bit. I think I might need to learn more about it first.
