Kokie Cosmetic - Liquid Hightlight

Happy Friday!! I am soo excited today, I finished off my Music Appreciation project and submitted it to my teacher. And I finally got my psychology grade back after my finals and I am excited to say that I PASSED!! Oh what a relief it is to know that class is under my belt and I will NEVER have to study it again.

Well, that's all the bragging I have for today with school...let's talk about some highlighting, K?

Alright, so the liquid highlight....There isn't any information on the Kokie website for this product, so I won't be able to show you what their claims are. But I will still give you what I feel about the product.

I think that the color is stunning for a highlight. It can be a very powerful "in your face" strength of highlight and it can be a very subtle "girl next door" strength.

I prefer applying it by patting it on with my finger....I find this method works best for me. When I use a brush with it, some of my foundation usually gets disturbed, so my finger it is.

But I was really shocked as to how much I do enjoy this highlight. When you see my makeup tutorials, you rarely see me mention any sort of hightlight, unless it's on the browbone or inner tear duct, and that's because I don't usually think about it. But as I have made a point to use this in my routine, I have grown very fond of it.

I don't just stop there on using this hightlight on my cheek bones, either. Nope, I have been using it as an eye shadow as you will see in my photo below. I just patted it with a brush on the inner third of my eye lid for a nice pop of shimmer.

Then I opted to pop it in my inner corner today to show all of it's glory.

I really enjoy the staying power of this highlighter....below are some photos of how it looked in the afternoon after all day of wear.

My thoughts:

I really do enjoy this highlight and while I was on the fence about buying it in the beginning, because I don't use liquid highlight ever, I am really happy I did. I love the versatility of the ways you can use it and I like the staying power of it.

I wish I had the Kokie claims on this product because I do feel it's helpful for a review to know what the manufacture says about their product and what you should be able to expect. But this might be something they are doing away with. If I do find out, I will let you know for sure.

That's all I have to say, if you do find the Kokie highlight, I have no trouble telling you to pick it up and enjoy it.
