Awesome post couldn't agree more Plush! Essentially in the same boat as you! I've met awesome people on here and then with the bonus of earning some Steem regardless of the price is great for me!
By the way, you seem to travel a fair bit so I assume you know about @steemitworldmap? I didn't do so well in the world cup comp but maybe the tide will turn in the round of 16 :)
I actually have been using it a fair bit! I sorta just started with that and also @travelfeed is also a real good one for traveling! No I've been doing terrible in all of my World Cup groups as well. Been a very unpredictable year which is great for the sport!
I saw a few interesting posts under the travelfeed tag so I will have to follow it now!
Who could have seen Russia beating Spain or Germany bowing out already :p

Yeah no kidding. The Belgium - Japan game yesteday was absolutely wild as well. Much better watching a good game like that rather then that Spain match where Russia had 11 guys in there own box defending for 80 minutes lol.

The top teams will make you pay for playing in your own half of the field for most of the game - seems like Spain was not up to the challenge. But I don't think Russia can play like that in the next round, or else I am really not going to do very well in the comp :D I am going for Belgium and England!
Im going for Belgium and I guess England as well! I don't really have anyone else on the other side as Belgium screwed me over when they won their group and got those draws!
I watched both the Uruguay v France and Brazil v Belgium game (so no sleep for me at all :p), I am still hoping for more surprises before the final :)
