Little things that make me smile ☺
This is my entry for @elizacheng's "MakeMeSmile" Week 3. If you interested to join, you can check it out here. Like I always said, life can hit us hard with so many random daily challenges. But whilst in it, we can still spot little things around us that make me smile, it just takes you to open up your eyes wide and switch on your radar.
My son had been admitted to hospital recently for 3 nights due to some stomach/intestine pain, coupled with slight fever. Due to him having CDH, we can't take it lightly. It was a dreadful first night at hospital because my son was not prepared it would be an admission. He wanted to go home desperately. The next day, when daddy came to visit..
All these items arrived at the ward just in time to make me smile, to brighten up Jansen. You know when you are on drip, you can't go anywhere except the ward. And the ward. And the ward. It is quite devastating if you don't know how to cheer up. Plus you are worried while waiting for the blood test result.
Lastly, for a twist of this blog, the nurse tried to make Jansen smiled too. She gently grabbed Jansen arm and told him she wanted to draw something.
My prayer and best wish is that everyone is healthy and no hospital stay is needed.

Hehe. Oh yes I know because they watched NON-STOP and even acted out all the scenes when gonna transformed. Pengsan. Before sleep also must transformed one time. And must act out all FIVE. And mummy just wanna sleeeeeep!!! lol
HAHHAHA ALL FIVE?! So cute! Ask them transform to pyjamas la.
Better don't. You interrupt and potong stim you get cranky children. No no. I want to sleep. haha
Haha saw Jayden drew this after his homework with me. Levi was trying to persuade him to use another colour but Jayden knows what his Didi likes haha. Good that everyone had something to cheer them up in the difficult times :) 💞
P/S: his blood back flow or is it meant to be red in the iv thingy on his hand? I shivered a bit when saw it's all red.
Yes it was his blood flow back. In the emergency ward while doing this, nurse insisted I must not be around. I kindly told them I must be around or else he would kick and move. But I was forced to go out, said it is a procedure. Half way through they had to call me in. He kicked, yelled and refused to be plastered while the needle was already in vein. So blood flow out and stain the bed too, because they didnt get to clamp it well. He managed to get out of the wrap (his body) and started swinging his hands. Once I went in he stopped struggling. And shouted "Dont leave me again like just now!". lol
Thank you for the write up. ❤
Sorry that you have to go through that. It must be super heart sick. Sometimes, wish they trust your mother instinct as well. Since he shouted that out, did the nurses say sorry? Maybe they didn't. You must be crying inside and perhaps outside too. Hugs @iamjadeline :)
The "We bless you because we want you to get well" was instructed by the gor gor :)
Stay strong @iamjadeline. Being a mum, the scary and worry part is always waiting, waiting and waiting. Hope Jansen result is good then.
Also good luck in your MakeMeSmile entry.
