[Pre-Announcement] MainStreem v 0.1

Evening everyone! I wanted to quickly take the time and the opportunity of the user-base that are following me to announce my newest project which will bridge the gap between writers and artists understanding and getting to know Steemit. This is going to feel a bit rushed and I have to agree it is, but the interest in it has been so great and there is already original content waiting to be published on Steemit! A lot more details about the project will follow shortly, hence calling this version 0.1 :)

The idea behind the projet

If you all remember my post when I ran into @kiddarko and introduced him to Steemit! It worked out great, nowadays he is an active Steemian! He is a prime example as he on his own initiative powered up and started posting content after getting to know Steemit and having the first connection with it.

Now there are still many who are skeptic about the whole thing, don't know what cryptos are and think its a way to trick them out of their time and creativity while not rewarding them with anything. To give these artists a good first impression of Steemit while at the same time guaranteeing them a compensation for their time and creativity, the project will focus on giving these artists looking to make good use for their time and be rewarded a glimpse into the Steemit Experience.

How the project helps bridge the gap

Right now I have a writer who was very interest to start posting content, I told him all about Steemit and that the project does give credit to him while posting his content. The writer receives a compensation for the content he provides and the mainstreem account keeps the funds it receives in votes. The support of the community provides a continuous flow of funds to bring more content to Steemit while the account grows and can support these artists through votes in the future.

Once the content creators see the support and reaction of the community to their content, it will peak their interest even more and they might create their own account and take over from there. Knowing this is an actual source of income and wanting to increase their followers and connect with the rest of the community. The MainStreem account will also curate on all the artists that have been involved with it and thus get a continuous support in votes and re-steems to boost their starting experience on Steemit.

Potential Pros and Cons from my perspective

Cons

• the content provided might not cover the initial investment in new content hired by writers
• the middle-men "time wasted"

Pros

• artists get a chance to be rewarded for their work and get to know a new platform that made it all possible
• artists become interested to join themselves
• artists share the site with others
• new content from new users to the platform
