Just for fun, I looked up the meaning of the different variations:
Alli = noble, bright, man's defender, exalted. ❣️
Ally = harmony, stone, noble.❣️
Alison and Allison = noble, kind.
All noble.

As a child, I didn't like my name. People called me Alice, which I disliked even more. Must have had a pretty dreamy nature even then, and wanted to cover it up. 😊

These days I've even (jokingly) called myself 'Alice from Wonderland' 🌷🐛🦋🍄🐞🌷and found that I liked it. Friends have called me Ally for years and I love the simplicity of it.
