3260 Eggs In A Two Door BMW!!

Hey everyone, ever since the news of my son arriving mid February (Valentines day) I have had to shuffle to make more cash and soon, so I have resorted to selling fertile eggs for incubation, I am amazed at how well it has been doing, popular, folks are buying many boxes often it really is quiet exciting actually.

On this particular day I had a client order 9 boxes of broiler eggs (Ross 308) these boxes all have 12 trays of 30 eggs, averaging 75 grams an egg, 360 eggs in a box, I told the client to bring a bakkie (pickup) he said he would. Well I tell you what, this is the prettiest 'bakkie' I ever saw ;).

To my utter dismay he arrives here from limpopo which is a 4 hour drive from me. No bakkie but a 2 door BMW sports car, problem?? No Problem!!

Well initially I wont lie, I was nervous how on Earth would he fit over 3000 eggs into this car, it really is not that big inside, in true South African style my client utters 'Craig don't worry we got this' and we did, or he did rather, I took more of a 'supervision' hold my breath role.

He loaded box after box, this way, that way.. we had run out of space and still needed to load two more boxes, he could not come back as a round trip was 800kms odd, improvise he did. Opening the last two boxes taking each indepedant tray out and fitting it in ever proverbial 'nook and cranny' one tray, two trays, three trays, a mere two hours later and 24 trays in every compartment in the car excluding the cubby hole, he was done.... pheewww, it all fitted, but just!

After a relatively frustrating 2 hours approximately 350kgs and a few swear words later, packed and ready, problem? No problem!! Here in Africa a plan is always made :P

Just look at how low this already low poor car is, not sure it will ever be the same though.
