EPIPHYLLUM CACTUS FLOWER
These Epiphyllum flowers are truly spectacular. They are an epiphytic cacti which means they grow on other plants, not in a parasitic way, but as hosts. They live off organic waste produced from their host plant and absorb their nutrients. They don't like to be too dry, but overwatering can kill them, so watering can be quite the balancing act. Their flowers only last for a couple of days, but they produce flowers from early Winter through to Spring. They also produce an edible fruit.

They are beautiful. I keep mine in a mostly shady place so that they don't need much water
Have you ever tried their fruit?
These are amazing photos, I wonder what the fruit tastes like.
