Shaun M Jooste's November Floral Show 2018
Good day and welcome to my first November Floral Show. This is a first in two different ways. It is the first time I am doing a floral show from the flowers in my garden, and it is the first time since I own this house that I have a garden with flowers in the front. The front yard only had the Nightshade tree and Duranta Erecta tree (Golden Dewberry / Sheena's Gold). But in August this year I decided to change it, placing a fence to block off the almighty dogs and planting some bushes and plants.
Today I present to you my November Floral Show, brought to you straight from my garden.
ROSES
Here's a show of the roses in my garden.
BEGONIA
PERSIAN LILY
CHRYSANTHEMUM
Still busy blooming. Early stages.
SUNFLOWER
Still busy blooming. Early stages.
BRONZE HAZE PROTEA
Protea flower busy forming.
AECHMEA BROMELIAD
Late stages of flowering.
GREEN BEAN TYPE PLANT
I bought these small green bean seeds for my bird feeder, and some of them fell on the ground. This is what grew from that. Have yet to identify its true name.
SHEENA'S GOLD / DURANTA ERECTA
ONION
This is what happens when you throw an onion bulb in the ground, let it grow leaves and finally let it flower.
NIGHTSHADE
TOMATO
Vygie / Ice Plants / Carpet Weed
PELARGONIUM
EGGPLANT / AUBERGINE
POMEGRANATE
This is past the flowering stage and growing into a fruit, but still stunning to behold.
Thanks for joining me in sharing my flowers. I hope you enjoyed it.
