A Rainy Day in Cape Town (In Photos)
It is a fantastic day in Cape Town. It is raining with our dams already over the average of 70%. After such a severe drought over the summer, it is great to have so much rain this week, with more promised over the next two days.
I decided to have a photoshoot with the rain.
The above image is of a droplet on my electric fence.
This shows how much water has collected in the first hour of rain this morning.
Here I am playing with aperture to show the difference between the focus on the actual ground and water, and then the focus on the reflection itself.
Below are some select leaf images, with droplets on them.

Such a relief to hear that Cape Town is getting some water!
I have added this post on my curation post of the day for School of Minnows!
Much love!
