Another Round of Random Object Macro Photography!
(All photos taken by @paradigm42)
As the intense cold winter weather continues in the northeast, I have had a lot of fun going around my home finding random things to take macro photos of. These first two alien looking subjects in reality are just old dusty dried flowers.
You can see by just slightly changing the angle of my shot, how the ultimate macro subject of focus changes and makes for a whole new visual effect of the subject.
This intense splash of aqua micro forest is a bit of terry cloth (towel material).
A bit of canvas becomes a weaved wall you could climb to parts unknown.
I do enjoy making everyday objects interesting in a way they rarely would be without my macro lens.
The leaf of my houseplant becomes the valley of a purple river and it's tributaries.
The leaves of my rose plant become a composition of light and shadow in nature.
Also dust, lots and lots of dust lol. Almost a theme in itself in these photos and around my home.. ;p
Even pocket change can become a subject of interest under my macro lens.. No object is safe from becoming a subject in these posts!
The sands of time slip away through my dusty hourglass.
A few small (and yes a bit dusty yet again lol) semi precious stones become intricate boulders.
Last I shall leave you with some more nifty feather shots.(I have a good size collection of feathers to choose from for these neat macro photos!)
I have found that I really like taking macros of feathers from different perspectives. They really do make for some cool looking photos.
I hope you have enjoyed traveling to the world of macro photography with me, and I hope to see you here again soon! Until then here is some feather fluff for your viewing pleasure.
As always remember that it is all about the little things in life, and thanks for looking in! :)
Sorry, out of BEER, please retry later...
