Macrophotography - Necrophorus investigator [Original Photo]
Hey
I'm not able to upload much at the moment; have an internet issue due to a lightning strike so i'm using 4G and my data allowance isn't great. Anyway,I just had to share a couple of images of this crazy beetle - Necrophorus investigator which I rescued from our paddling pool. I didn't quite get the shot I wanted before he flew off after drying out, but he was still a magnificent subject. Pity his antennae just blocked his eye in this first shot, and I didn't quite nail the focus in the second one. He was quite a little mover though

Great macro shots. I like the second one... looks like he's scaling the wall to break out of prison.
Gorgeous photos and gorgeous little guy... The colours came out dark and rich, very beautiful !
