Dandelion
Sunday was a gorgeous day. I grabbed my macro lens, attached it to my phone (it's a clip-on), and started wandering the yard. Here is what I saw!
It was a little windy. I have to hold my phone super close to whatever I'm photographing and that doesn't work when that thing is wildly flailing in the air. I like the uncenteredness (I'm sure there's a word for that...somewhere) of some of these shots, like the one above.
Strawberries that went wild on me.
One of my fancy, non-native columbines beginning its bloom.
Dogwood. The center is actually the flowers not the white part.
The Dogwood is Missouri's State Tree.
Rue Anemone
Thanks for looking. I'm still reeling from the shock of losing a beloved member of our family, our dog Merle. If you could pop over to this post and the one linked on it and learn a little about tick-borne disease. Please protect your furbabies from fleas and ticks. They're so bad this year.
The macro settings are awesome! My near vision is going to hell, so I often find stuff in the pic I did not even see lol!
Happy Sunday! This comment is to inform you that your article has been linked and featured in the most recent Weekly Homesteading Newsletter! Thanks and have a great day!
I never had a macro lens. These photos are really cool! I think I like the last one best, the glow around it!
You can get little clip-on macro lenses from Walmart! They should be in the camera and electronics area. I don't know how much they are as mine were a gift. Thanks, @goldenoakfarm!
