Mother-and-stepmother

Hi, dear friends!

I love the day of #macrophotography in @juliank's contest most of all.

Today I want to share with you some photos of a flower tussilago

We saw a group of these flowers at the road in front of the burch forest.

But one flower was so photogenic.

In Russia we call this flower Мать-и-мачеха (Mother-and-stepmother). The legend says says that the flower has its title because of its leaves. One side of the leave is soft and warm. It's mother. The other side is smooth and cold. It's stepmother.

Tussilago was known and used as a treatment from coughing in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.
