A brave beetle. / Храбрый жук. #macrophotography

Once, my friend and I strolled along the path beside the forest. We were looking for mushrooms along the way. But there were very few of its that week. When we saw the rough-stemmed bolete of the undercover in the grass, we leaned towards it. And only then we notice another pretender to the booty. A huge black beetle dined with this mushroom and was not going to share. Now the instinct of photo-hunters has awakened in us. Two lenses leaned over the insect. The brave beetle, having decided to defend his dinner, turned around and, with a menacing movement of his mustache, moved toward us. He did not even think of running away from the giants. Estimating the courage of the enemy, we took a picture of him and went on without touching the bitten mushroom.

Однажды мы с подругой прогуливались по тропинке около леса. Мы поглядывали, не встретятся ли грибы. Но их в ту неделю было очень мало. Увидев в траве шляпку подберёзовика, мы наклонились к нему. И только тогда заметили другого претендента на добычу. Огромный черный жук обедал этим грибом и не собирался делиться. Теперь в нас проснулся инстинкт фотоохотников. Над насекомым склонились два объектива. Храбрый жук, решив защищать свой обед, развернулся и, грозно шевеля усами, двинулся на нас. Он даже не подумал убегать от великанов. Оценив храбрость противника, мы сфотографировали его и пошли дальше, не тронув надкусанный гриб.
