FROSTY FALL AFTERNOON HIKE
These pictures were taken last week from one of my hikes Normally this time of year, it's drizzling rain 24/7(and it is back to that for next 2 weeks it looks like) and is dark and murky. This was a much welcomed change to the norm!
Our hike began around 2 in the afternoon, and as we were on one particular part of the trail that doesn't get very much sun, I couldn't resist taking these photos of a frozen micro world.
The fallen leaves have kind of a surreal look to them that I find very intriguing. It's almost as if you took the can of spray frosting they used to sell years ago to create frosted window panes for Christmas-except this is the real thing!
Every little detail is frozen in time. This last picture looks like someone sprinkled crystalized sugar on it.
I hope you've enjoyed this look into a little known frozen world. Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day! :)
