Although I’m not sure why a number of people think that caterpillars are disgusting creatures, I can recall myself believing exactly the same thing as a child. Was it because all the other children believed the same thing as well, and I didn’t want myself to differ from common belief, or was it because caterpillars have really something that makes them look like small beasts? I don’t know.
It’s the same thing with mice. While some people absolutely loathe them, others find them adorable.
